With its modern design, the Leckey Prone Board not only looks good but is also extremely functional and variable: Your child can stand upright in it, and also relax in the ventral or dorsal position. This means your child can stand in the various medically important positions without requiring a second upright support. Not only does this save space, it also provides relief for your back since you do not have to transfer your child from one therapy aid to another.

From Ventral to Dorsal Position in Three Easy Steps

Especially handy: You can convert the prone board from the ventral to the dorsal position in just three easy steps. To do so, simply remove the adjustable headrest, exchange the therapy table, and turn the sandals around. In both versions, you can comfortably adjust the desired inclination angle of the prone board electronically at the push of a button, which provides you with effective everyday relief.

With the help of the prone board, your child is guided into an upright position step by step. As soon as your child has become accustomed to slight stress in a tilted position and the muscles have gained strength, you can continue to place the prone board more and more upright until your child is standing. After all, standing upright daily is important by promoting a sense of balance, circulation, and hip development. When standing, your child views the world from a different perspective and becomes more actively integrated into everyday home life.

Optimal Posture Support

With the many adjustment options, you can adapt the prone board precisely to the individual requirements of your child. For example, the foot rest is segmented so that both feet are ideally positioned. The foot rest is attached in the front. This makes it easier for you to adjust the sandals. At the same time, your child can stand up out of the wheelchair largely unassisted and can use the prone board independently.
