Greater Independence – The Children’s Standing Frame

When standing, your child sees things from a totally different perspective: Right at eye level with playmates, your child can participate actively while being supported by our standing frame.

When standing, your child sees things from a totally different perspective: At direct eye level with friends and siblings, social contact and active integration into the environment are made much easier. At the same time, pressure on the bottoms of the feet stimulates a sense of balance. Your child is more able to orientate itself in space. We developed the standing frame in order to offer your child all of these advantages.

Effective Everyday Relief

The special feature of our children’s standing frame is that your child can stand safely and securely at all times while the frame remains mobile due to its rollers. You do not need to anchor it to a wall, but can easily push it through the house or even into the garden on even surfaces. Therefore your child can always stand where he or she wants to and participate in all family activities.

In addition, you can individually adapt the height of the foot plate to a children’s wheelchair. You no longer have to lift your child out of or into the wheelchair, which offers you effective relief. With the help of the standing frame, your child can get up and sit down largely without assistance. The belt system provides the required level of safety. When getting up, the belts are automatically retracted on the right and left sides and are locked in any position. Your child is always secured safely. He or she can lean back in order to rest, relax the hands, and get up one step at a time depending on his or her strength. We offer an electronic belt retraction system for children who do not possess sufficient arm strength.

Table and Reading Desk

The standing frame is suitable for children with a body size from 120 to 150 centimeters. Support bars for getting up and pads for the knees and hips are standard equipment. The table can be tilted and therefore be used as a reading desk, for example. You can also equip the frame with tiltable pads or a head rest in order to adapt it to the requirements of your child.

After all, standing upright daily is especially important from a medical point of view: The upright position prevents muscle shortening, spasms, and circulatory problems. Circulation and kidney function are improved.
