Have you have dislocated your shoulder, broken your upper arm, or do you have rotator cuff complaints? These problems require immobilization of your arm in an angled position called abduction. To receive both the best rehabilitative success combined with comfort and an updated design, then our Acro Assist 50A1 is ideal for you.

Lightweight and Stable

Due to its innovative construction, the orthosis is incredibly lightweight – the medium size is just 650 grams. You can comfortably wear the orthosis for longer periods of time without causing unnecessary stress on the shoulder and neck areas. The Acro Assist doesn’t compromise on stability, though, and reliably supports your arm in the position prescribed by your doctor, helping to limit motion that would delay the healing process. The design supports your arm at the torso, making sure that the shoulder joint isn’t stressed.

We took special care to create an appealing, non-restrictive design when we developed the Acro Assist. Several color options add a sporty and modern feel, too.

Hook-and-Loop Closures for Easier Handling

In addition, the Acro Assist is easy to use. The hook-and-loop closures on the ends of the straps have practical grips to easily open and refasten the orthosis. In addition, the pull loops on the hip and shoulder belts make it easier to put the orthosis on and take it off by ensuring that you can always comfortably reach and place the straps around your body.

The unique abduction wedge can be adjusted to abduction angles of 30°, 60°, or 90° by your clinician. They will also adjust the straps to your measurements for a perfect fit.

Indication

  • Post-operative and post-traumatic conditions of the shoulder and arm region that require abduction positioning of the arm, including conditions following rotator cuff surgery, reduction of anterior luxations, or subcapital humerus fractures
