Our Residual Limb Compression Socks are an important step in post-operative treatment of residual limbs. They can be used to ensure even pressure, which helps decrease edema.
Easy Handling
We offer the Residual Limb Compression Socks for transfemoral and transtibial applications in two compression classes and various sizes. Otto Bock’s compression socks should only be used when prescribed by a physician and introduced by medical personnel.
Residual limb socks should not be with patients who have:
- Weeping skin
- Open wounds
- Infection or circulation problems like acute thrombophlebitis
- Decompensated heart
In order to extend the lifespan of the socks, we recommend that you wear gloves and remove jewelry when donning and doffing the socks.
