Torsion adapters have significant advantages for the wearer, regardless of their amputation level. Because the socket needs to securely fit the residual limb, the Otto Bock torsion adapter compensates for this necessary lack of movement. The torsion adapters also provide more mobility for recreational activities like playing golf or tennis.
