With its innovative products, Otto Bock HealthCare is helping people with disabilities to retain or restore their mobility. We know that mobility means something different to everyone. For some, it means the ability to practice their profession, whereas for others it means the freedom to structure their lives completely on their own. We believe that mobility represents quality of life today.

The need to shape our lives as individually as possible is growing, as is the challenge for scientists and researchers who seek to retain our mobility into old age. At the same time, medical aids are becoming more and more essential, especially in light of recent demographic trends and increasing life expectancies. It is crucial to ensure that high-tech prostheses and other modern medical aids are not luxury goods. Instead, it is an ethical and social imperative to supply these aids to the people who need them.
