The Sleepform System provides optimum postural support for kids during the night. Sleepform allows for custom modulation of the support surface, whether the child is lying on his or her back, stomach or side. In just a few steps, parents can adjust the vacuum mattress to the contours of their child's body and use the vacuum pump to retain the shape of the mattress. The contoured support system keeps the child in a symmetrical position, even when the child’s muscle tone reduces during sleep. Incorrect postures can also be corrected this way.
The Sleepform System focuses on hip and trunk posture, but the support surface can also be shaped for optimum positioning of the head and arms. The Airflow mattress is placed between the child and the Sleepform mattress and keeps the child at a comfortable temperature. As a result, the child remains comfortable and relaxed for a good night's sleep.
For additional support, the Sleepform can be adapted to individual needs and medical conditions using a wide selection of accessories. Elasticated chest, hip, knee and leg straps can be adjusted to give the child the proper support in these areas while allowing for movement at the same time. If necessary, a knee roll can be used to help the child maintain a symmetrical supine posture. The knee roll is also useful if the child has contractures or tightening of the hamstring. When the child is lying on his or her side, an Airflow Pillow can be placed between the knees for additional comfort.
The Sleepform is available in four different sizes and is suitable during infancy and for children up to the age of 18. The system is easy to transport and can be used in any bed. The Sleepform is also easy to clean.
