The Charly Prone Board combines the greatest possible degree of therapeutic use with optimal user-friendliness. The large pivot range from 90 to 195° makes it possible to use Charly as an upright support, prone board, and drainage support.
Due to its many adjustment options, Charly can be optimally adapted to the various needs and requirements of children. The main support surface is divided into three sections; the upper two can be continuously adjusted in height in order to adapt to various body sizes of children. The torso plate and the pads are covered with breathable imitation leather and ensure a high level of comfort. In addition, the leg supports can be independently adjusted for an abduction of 0 to 30°.
The Charly Prone Board also distinguishes itself through easy everyday handling. Both pivoting and the angle adjustment of the leg supports are done comfortably via a foot pedal or hand-operated lever. Both can be secured against accidental activation. For the numerous adjustments of knee pads and foot shells, we have developed special clamps which achieve a high clamping force with very little strength while allowing for adjustments under load.
We offer Charly in three sizes for children age three to six years, children age five to twelve years, and children age eight to 16 years.
