Due to its large adjustment range under load, the Spider indoor chassis can be varied in height and lowered to the floor. Therefore the child is at eye level with playmates.
Spider is an indoor chassis for orthopedic seating systems. A range of different interchangeable adapters allows most common seating systems to be installed easily and safely.
The Spider Indoor Chassis distinguishes itself mainly through its large adjustment ranges while under load. The seat height adjustment is infinitely variable, and the seat can be lowered to floor level. At the lowest seat height, the distance to the floor is only approximately 20 centimeters. This makes it easier for the child to interact with playmates at the Kindergarten, for example. In addition, the seat can be tilted from an active position at -10° back to a relaxed rest position at +35°.
During development of the Spider, we placed special emphasis on easy everyday handling. Therefore the seat angle can be comfortably adjusted using a foot pedal. The height adjustment is supported by a combination of gas and spring pressure. The activating lever, which can be mounted for left or right-handed users, ensures a safe grip. Especially handy: The established seat angle is retained when the height is adjusted.
Due to the four steerable rollers, the stable chassis is maneuverable and easy to navigate even in small rooms. An optional push handle makes steering even easier. The wheels can be locked in order to keep the chassis safely in place.
