The Avantgarde T is designed for manoeuvrability and compact dimensions, so that navigating through narrow areas is possible without problems. A large number of options for this active wheelchair with a modular structure make it possible to ensure individual requirements are optimally met.
The Avantgarde T has a standard adjustable back rest and ergonomically adapted back straps. If the user wants to switch between the active and relaxed seating position, he or she can select the Ergo backrest. Its pivot point for the angle adjustment from -9° to +9° is at the same level as the hip joint of the user. To ensure this remains consistent in case of seat cushion replacements, the height of the Ergo backrest can be correspondingly adjusted.
In addition to the continuous standard footrest, a sectional footrest and a footrest for small lower leg lengths starting at 16 cm are also available.
The optional shock absorber system reliably cushions impacts when driving on uneven surfaces. Therefore the Avantgarde T is a comfortable means of transportation, even off paved paths.
