The extremely light Avantgarde Ti Ultra is conceived for experienced users that have an established seating position. Due to its modular construction, this active wheelchair makes optimal individual adaptation possible. Thus the front seat height and the wheel position, among other things, can be exactly adjusted to the requirements of the user by changing the steering wheel position. Furthermore, the back of the Avantgarde Ti Ultra is anatomically adaptable and covered with breathable upholstery.
With all Avantgarde models, the seating position is established first in conjunction with the user. Then the drive wheel position for the Ti Ultra is established and an aluminium pipe is securely welded to the frame. The rear frame component is also a single cast with short push handles which are solidly welded. In spite of these compact properties, the Avantgarde Ti Ultra is foldable and easy to handle.
Users who are not yet familiar with the frame construction of the Otto Bock active wheelchairs should start with the Avantgarde Ti 8.9 in order to first determine the ideal seating position. Once this has been achieved, every Ti 8.9 can easily be converted into the Ti Ultra.
