Used for fixation, support, or correction
The ankle joints 17M1 and 17M2 for plastic lower leg orthoses offer the orthopaedics technician many possibilities to manufacture light, functional orthoses for children and adults. Whether it is free-moving ankle joints for movement guidance or ankle joints that offer targeted control and effective support of movements: Many indications can be optimally treated with these joints. At the same time, the 17M1 and 17M2 distinguish themselves through simple and practice-oriented handling in production and functionality.
The 17M1 dual-function ankle joints with stop pins and springs are used to limit and support plantar flexion and dorsal extension. Therefore they are ideally suited in case of peronaeus paralysis and ICP.
The free-moving ankle joints 17M2 are stable in the m/l direction and are not restricted in the a/p direction. The maintenance-free supported joints can be used, for example, in case of pronounced ankle instability.
