The dynamic ankle orthosis Dyna Ankle designed by Prof. Dr. Grifka is used for the functional treatment of exterior ligament ruptures. It keeps the foot at slight pronation and dorsal extension.

Effects

  • Places the foot in moderate pronation and dorsiflexion 
  • Dynamic restraint continuously limits the plantar flexion and supination 
  • Limits rotation


Indications

  • Conservative treatment of anterior talofibular ligament fractures in the ankle 
  • Post-operative protection after ligament repair and ligament reconstruction 
  • Permanent stabilization aid for chronic instability in the upper and/or lower ankle joint with contraindications for surgery
