Which version number does my software have?
You can determine the program version using the menu ? | About. This opens a window that contains information regarding the version of the Otto Bock Data Station as well as of the applications you have installed. You should have this information available whenever you contact one of our support representatives.
Does it make sense to install the update?
Every update always brings your application up to date. It contains all changes made between your version and the current update version. A regular update is recommended especially for applications with component selection, as the new version will contain new products, for example, while products that are no longer available will no longer be included in the software.
How do I do the update?
Download the relevant update and execute the install programme. If applicable, packed files must be unpacked first. Please read the "ReadMe.txt" file first if it is provided and follow the instructions it contains. Then follow the on-screen instructions.
How do I know whether a 32-bit or 64-bit operating system is installed on my computer?
Under "Start" > "Settings" > "Control Panel" > "System", you will find information about the operating system installed on your computer. Alternatively, you can access the system information by pushing and holding the "Windows" key and then pushing the "Pause" key. The Microsoft® Windows XP operating system may not offer information about 32-bit versus 64-bit. In that case, your computer is normally running a 32-bit operating system.
