Ottobock vocational training day

As the summer holidays approach, students begin to ask themselves, "What should I do after I leave school?" The Ottobock vocational training day on 17th June 2017 aims to provide inspiration and possible answers to this question. Trainees and former trainees of the company will be organising the information day for students and their parents – because they're the ones who know best which questions young people ask when trying to settle on a future career.

During the open day, which will run from 11am to 4pm, guests can enjoy a varied programme on the company site in Duderstadt. Hourly guided tours of the company offer glimpses behind the scenes. "Not only will these give an impression of the many and varied fields of work, but potential trainees can also get a feel for the workbench or desk where they might later work," says Stefanie Senhen, Head of Training at Ottobock. The professions which trainees can learn here are as varied as the products which the med-tech company produces and sells on a global scale. Visitors can also gain an overview of the products in one of the hourly guided tours through the exhibition. Those who would like more general information about the company can attend one of the company presentations.

Regardless of whether you'd like to become an electronics engineer, or have the aptitude and skill for training as an orthotics and prosthetics professional, or you find the idea of completing a dual study programme (BA) appealing – trainees and supervisors will be at hand to answer any questions you may have. The vocational training day is free of charge. Advance registration is not necessary.

Representatives of the media are also most welcome to visit the vocational training day. Please feel free to contact us.
