The Malleo Neurexa pro is an orthosis with a foot lifting effect that can also counteract the effects of a developing spasticity thanks to its special alignment.The orthosis can be worn during the day, at night and even without footwear.

High therapeutic benefits

The Malleo Neurexa pro plays a supporting role in therapy for acute spasticity of the foot. The dorsiflexion assist orthosis reduces the risk of the foot getting caught on small obstacles or uneven ground.

Easy to clean

Due to the materials it’s made of, the Malleo Neurexa pro is washable and very easy to clean. It maintains its appearance even after prolonged wear and does not yellow.
By using an anti-slip pad for the sole, you can also wear the orthosis without shoes, but not barefoot.

An orthosis for day and night

By fastening the orthosis with straps and hook-and-loop closures, you can also wear it at night in order to keep the foot in a neutral position.

It helps to elevate the foot during the swing phase, making the gait safer again while reducing the risk of stumbling and falling. The tip of the foot no longer gets caught as easily on small obstacles or uneven ground. The ankle-foot orthosis is made of a modern carbon fibre prepreg material which is very lightweight. The 28U90 lower leg orthosis from Ottobock is used for drop foot (peroneal weakness). It lifts the forefoot during walking and simultaneously limits foot flexion in the upper ankle joint, in the direction of the sole.
