Carbon feet

Do you only have a limited build height available for the installation of your prosthetic foot? Thanks to the Taleo Low Profile, you too can benefit from the high energy return and flexibility of the Taleo prosthetic feet. The unique pyramid design also allows more controlled forward movement during rollover than usual for low profile feet. The prosthetic foot is resistant to fresh, salt and chlorinated water. Water runoff channels on the adapter and openings in the sole of the footshell prevent water from collecting in your prosthesis.

Abducted big toe

The abducted big toe makes it possible to wear sandals.

Adapter with water runoff contours

The water runoff contours on the adapter prevent liquid from collecting inside your prosthesis during activities in water.

Flexible design

The design of the prosthetic foot ensures high flexibility, efficient energy return and a smooth rollover. It facilitates a dynamic gait pattern without dead spots, even at varying walking speeds.

Customisable

Thanks to three different heel wedges, both the impact stress at heel strike and the gait dynamics can be customised to individual needs.

Answers for you

What makes the Taleo Low Profile special?

Thanks to the Taleo Low Profile, you can benefit from the high energy return and flexibility of the Taleo prosthetic feet even if you have a long residual limb or a low build height for the integration of your prosthetic foot.

Is the Taleo Low Profile the right prosthetic foot for me?

The Taleo Low Profile was developed for active individuals (mobility grade 3–4) who navigate varied indoor and outdoor environments and place a high value on effortless walking. It is suitable for patients weighing up to 150 kg. Both transfemoral and transtibial amputees can benefit from the flexible prosthetic foot.

Can I use the Taleo Low Profile for sports as well?

The Taleo Low Profile is primarily a prosthetic foot that provides you with support for a wide range of everyday activities. However, the carbon foot is suitable for participating in light sports activities such as badminton or Frisbee on occasion.

Is the Taleo Low Profile waterproof?

Yes, this prosthetic foot is waterproof and can be worn in salt, fresh or chlorinated water. In addition to water-resistant materials, the carbon foot has water runoff contours on the adapter and openings in the footshell that allow water to drain from the prosthesis. In order to maintain the functionality of the foot, it is essential to clean it as instructed after using it in water.

Will I need a new prosthesis for the Taleo Low Profile?

No, the Taleo Low Profile can be integrated into either a new or an existing modular prosthesis, provided it has sufficient build height.

Is the Taleo Low Profile available in my size?

The prosthetic foot is available in a range of sizes from 22 to 30 cm. Your O&P professional selects the Taleo Low Profile for you based on your foot size and body weight.

Do I need to wear special shoes with the Taleo Low Profile?

No, the Taleo Low Profile is delivered with a footshell that is based on the shape of a natural foot and is therefore compatible with most common types of shoes. Plus, a slim and a normal footshell are available in most foot sizes to match your natural foot as closely as possible. The abducted big toe on the footshell even makes it possible to wear thong sandals and walk barefoot for brief periods indoors.

Can I test the Taleo Low Profile?
