Your path to Ottobock
Every year, we look for new apprentices. We use a transparent and fair application process to get to know you better and give you the opportunity to familiarise yourself with us, so you can form an impression of us as a training workplace.
Your application documents
Your application should give us an impression of you, your abilities and interests, which is as clear and realistic as possible. Your complete documents include a covering letter, a CV in tabular form as well as relevant reports and certificates.
Application through the career portal
In order to be able to process your application quickly and efficiently, we only accept online applications through our career portal.
You can find vacancies and the date on which training commences for all the training professions which we will provide training for at the beginning of the next training period on our career portal.
If your application has convinced us, you will pass an online aptitude test. Here, the specialist knowledge required for the respective profession is tested, and you are asked questions on your general or mathematical knowledge, for example.
If the test result meets the requirements, we invite you, together with other applicants, to a selection day in our company. Practical exercises give you an insight into the professional field, familiarise you with your working environment and give you the opportunity to show your personality. An interview provides you with another opportunity to check if Ottobock and the training profession are a good fit for you.
With approximately 40 training places per year, we are very busy during the application process. We do our best to step through the application procedure as quickly as possible. Our selection days start after our application deadline. After the selection days, we let you know quickly if you will be offered a training place.
