At the moment, we are conducting interviews only by telephone or video conference, and the first assessment centres are also running digitally as well. Absolutely! On-the-job training is very important at our company, and has been a tradition here for many years. For this reason, we will be filling all our advertised training positions again this year.
Is it still possible to apply for an internship or work-study position at Ottobock?
Yes, we are still taking on interns and working students.
Can I submit an unsolicited application to your company at present?
Unfortunately, we are unable to accept unsolicited applications due to the current situation.
Is there a risk that I could miss the beginning of my training due to the coronavirus crisis?
As things currently stand, all training and cooperative study courses are set to start as planned on 1 September.
I will be starting work at Ottobock soon. Will there be a digital onboarding process?
We will do everything we can to make your start with us as comfortable as possible. Our employees will be putting a great deal of work and creative ideas into setting up a virtual induction process for you and will actively help you integrate into your respective team.
I recently applied to Ottobock. What will the rest of the application process involve?
If you are invited to take part in an interview, this will take place by phone as usual. Our follow-up conversations with you will also be held online rather than in person. We are using this approach to protect both you and ourselves in this exceptional situation.
