3D L.A.S.A.R. Posture –
Bringing balance

3D L.A.S.A.R. Posture assists technicians with optimal alignment and body posture of the users. The alignment of a prosthesis or orthosis is the key to quality of fitting. Only if the statics are correct, the medical device can reveal its full functionality and the user achieves the highest possible level of mobility and independence. With the new 3D L.A.S.A.R. Posture, cameras record the user standing on the measuring plate live and transmit the image to a tablet. On the tablet's display, the measured forces are shown as lines above the user's image with millimeter precision.

Agilium Freestep 3.0 –
Less Pain. More Life

We developed the Agilium Freestep 3.0 for the treatment of unicompartmental osteoarthritis of the knee joint: it is not applied to the knee, but to the foot and lower leg. To specifically relieve the affected cartilage in the knee joint, the Agilium Freestep 3.0 shifts the load line in the knee. The load line describes the point where the body weight primarily impacts the cartilage. Say "Stop" to osteoarthritis of the knee. Have a look at experiences made by patients and how they are treading new paths with Agilium Line braces. Thanks to the various brace designs, patients’ individual needs can be accommodated.

Bebionic Hand: Experience intelligent design

Intelligent, precise, and reliable. Express yourself with the enhanced bebionic hand by Ottobock, designed for individuals with upper limb loss to perform everyday activities with ease. With 14 different grip patterns and hand positions, the bebionic makes it easier to perform activities of daily living such as eating meals, tying shoelaces, carrying bags, opening doors, switching on lights, typing, and more. Finger movements are tracked by sensors, which ensure all grip patterns are reliably kept in sync. The bebionic can be used with the Myo Plus pattern recognition system, which uses up to eight pairs of electrodes to identify your unique muscle patterns for intuitive control of the hand.

C-Brace & Nexgear Tango –
A new freedom of movement

The C-Brace® is the world's first stance and swing phase controlled orthosis system (SSCO) that can enable people with lower limb paresis or flaccid paralysis to experience a whole new world of movement. The Nexgear Tango ankle joint allows the user a more physiological and therefore efficient gait pattern, thanks to its strong spring force and extensive freedom of movement. This new combination provides a greater fitting variety for O&P professionals to manufacture an even more dynamic C-Brace® orthosis.

Back to everyday life with Digital-to-Walk

With intelligent and connected digital services and products, we bring patients back to everyday life faster. The bundling of digital solutions in one platform is groundbreaking and unique. The Digital-to-Walk platform transforms patient care and the work of CPOs. Via 3D scanning with iFab EasyScan, software modulation, sensor-based prosthetic alignment and dynamic gait analysis, the fitting process is controlled holistically in a digital and data-based manner. For patients, it means a faster return to their mobility with maximum fitting quality. CPOs can use the time saved in the workshop for their patients. The digitally designed and 3D printed MyFIT TT socket is only one easy way to boost everyone’s efficiency. Addtionally, the documentation and objective measurement support the reimbursement process.

E-MAG Active & Nexgear Tango for more dynamic walking

The E-MAG Active is a SCO knee joint for custom-made orthoses. Thanks to freedom of choice in the area of the lower leg, it can be combined with the Nexgear Tango ankle joint. The Nexgear Tango can be optimally adapted to the user's requirements. Equipped with the Reaction-module, the Nexgear Tango enables an even more efficient gait pattern. The Reaction-Springs in the Reaction-modules use the ground reaction forces to dynamically support and control the heel strike and toe-off. The Nexgear Tango enables a high level of energy return with maximum freedom of movement in the ankle joint. This opens up new possibilities for users on uneven surfaces such as ramps or unpaved trails.

The new Kenevo: Confidence you can count on

The Kenevo prosthetic knee joint is the first fitting solution with the latest technology that is specifically designed for users with mobility grades 1 and 2. It provides support specifically for frequently recurring everyday situations, while focusing on safety. The Kenevo also keeps pace with the individual abilities of the user, for example during rehabilitation. The new Kenevo has expanded functionality to simplify and enrich the life of the user. This includes intuitive assisted descent of ramps and using an indoor bicycle. Routine tasks such as putting on the prosthesis or charging with a foam cover are now more convenient.

Myo Plus pattern recognition

Even after a forearm amputation or with a congenital malformation, a mental image of the hand usually remains mapped in the brain. Amputees can still imagine closing, opening or rotating their hand. This activates the remaining muscles in the residual limb. These muscle signals are transformed into myoelectric signals using electrodes on the forearm and translated directly into a movement of the prosthetic hand. Myo Plus learns to interpret the user’s individual movement patterns, assigning each to a specific prosthesis movement. These patterns can be adapted with the Myo Plus App.

Taleo Side Flex –
Benchmark for mediolateral flexibility

The Taleo Side Flex is the latest addition to the Taleo product family. Thanks to its innovative terrain adaptation unit, the Taleo Side Flex offers even more freedom of movement in everyday life. Compared to conventional prosthetic feet, it adapts to slopes right after heel strike with an exceptional 20° range of motion. The new prosthetic foot ensures immediate adaptation and safe, full-surface ground contact on uneven surfaces and sideway slopes. This has a positive impact on the user’s comfort and safety. The foot’s mediolateral flexibility reduces the lateral load on the knee or in the socket and can minimise compensating movements. It’s more than a prosthetic foot. It’s a foundation.

WalkOn. The carbon AFO family

The WalkOns are well known as a family of dynamic carbon AFOs, intended for lifting the foot. All models have a slim and lightweight design which at the same time is optimized for durability. Adult versions are tested for 2 Mio cycles and Junior versions for 1 Mio cycles. Removable Pads and straps improve the comfort but also hygiene and strengthen the users compliance. With the existing WalkOn, WalkOn Flex and WalkOn Reactions we offer highly functional carbon AFOs but so far only with a medial strut. We listened to your requests. In Q1 2022 we extend our WalkOn family and will introduce the all new WalkOn Lateral and WalkOn Reaction Lateral. Designed with a lateral strut that offers even more opportunities to fulfill individual user’s needs, they come with all the known features of their medial counterparts.

Preforms –
Reinforcement for prosthetic sockets

Highly rigid frame and container sockets can be produced with little effort by using prefabricated carbon elements. Due to a special manufacturing process, the carbon fibres are oriented according to the load, corresponding to the forces that occur in the socket. High stiffness is guaranteed as a result. At the same time, the carbon fibres permit a low socket weight by minimising the use of material. The carbon set consists of three separate pieces that can be applied directly to the isolated plaster model. This application reduces waste and saves time as there is no need to cut carbon fibre mesh supplied in rolls or sheets.
