The adventure of being a canoe paddler
After the accident and the rehabilitation process, it took him a while to return to do sports.
In 2014 he accompanied Agustin Facio, a friend and passionate canoeist, to his training sessions. He was introduced to the coach Santy Casey and that is when his adventure of being a para canoeist started. Now, he competes in the KL1 Class, which is for Para canoe paddlers who have very limited or no trunk function and no leg function.
“Life give you obstacles, but who put the limits are ourselves!”
Lucas Diaz, Para canoeist and Ottobock ambassador
