Prep for the digital design process by marking limb features that will help you generate an accurate 3D model, shape and position the trimline, and optimize socket fit.
Use iFab EasyScan or any other suitable scanning device to create a precise digital map of your patient’s residual limb.
Log in to the iFab Customer Center (iCC), load your scan into the MyFit TT modeling software, and indicate if you’d like to order a test or defintive socket.
Once you define your markers, the software gives you even more control than you have with plaster. Modify alterations, pause and resume, and undo changes at any time.
The software provides a range of preset parameters based on your selected liner, the socket format, and key features of the patient’s limb. You can follow or modify them as needed.
During the design workflow you can define the exact alignment of your patient’s socket, including abduction/adduction, flexion/extension, and/or rotational shift.
Once your socket design is ready, it takes just a few clicks to configure the test or definitive socket, complete your order, and start the production process.
If you ordered a test socket and it fits just right, you can easily request a definitive version based on the same 3D design. Make updates if needed, or simply submit a new order.
