Comme tous les modèles de la gamme Juvo, le fauteuil roulant B4 est lui aussi conçu de manière modulaire et offre une grande flexibilité. Les options et caractéristiques disponibles pour la base, l’unité d’assise et la commande permettent un appareillage moderne et individuel. Le technicien peut alors profiter de composants de haute qualité comme l’assise librement adaptable (VAS) ou la commande TEN.
The Juvo B4 with rear-wheel drive offers safety and comfort for outdoor use. It is also compact and manoeuvrable indoors. Permanent drive wheel suspension compensates for uneven surfaces, and the wheelchair’s small outside dimension makes it easier to drive through narrow doorways and navigate in confined spaces.
Like all models in the Juvo product range, the B4 features a modular design and thus offers a high level of flexibility. The wheelchair can be individually adapted thanks to the numerous options offered by the mobility base, the seating unit and the control device.

The Juvo B4 is the entry-level model of the Juvo product range. Components such as the steel drive unit support are particularly resilient. Permanent drive wheel suspension compensates for uneven surfaces and ensures a comfortable ride.
The power seat functions provide a high level of comfort and support in everyday life, such as pressure relief or the ability to change position by tilting the seat up to 45°. Adjusting the back support angle can be helpful for breathing as well as for personal care, and the knee angle adjustment also has a relieving effect. The power seat height adjustment facilitates eye-level communication.
With the Juvo B4, there is a choice of different control devices. The basic VR2 control device has a practical keypad, LED display panels and a joystick. The TEN° control device provides extra comfort thanks to its ergonomic controls and innovative operating system, including a high-resolution 3.5 inch colour display and Bluetooth function. Both control devices can also be combined with an attendant control device, which allows an attendant to assist with driving.
Different seat options can be selected depending on your personal needs and tastes. In addition to the standard seats, the VAS seat in particular offers a high level of comfort thanks to the precise adjustment options. The Contour kit also features an optimally and anatomically shaped seat, which can be combined with the standard and the VAS seat.
Depending on requirements, users can either opt for the footpath lighting with an LED lamp or a complete LED lighting system with direction indicators. Thanks to the built-in magnet, the lighting housing can be easily reattached in the event of a collision with another object.
The curb climbing assist allows the user to negotiate higher curbs of up to 100 millimetres, which makes it a practical support when navigating everyday life with the Juvo B4.
Focused and determined
Kristina’s greatest passion is acting as a consultant for accessible building projects. After deciding to move to Berlin, she has been successfully involved in various projects for years. So it’s little wonder that the student also wants to make this her professional future. Kristina uses her Juvo B4 power wheelchair to get around every day due to a progressive neuromuscular condition. She left her home in the countryside for life in the big city years ago.
It quickly became clear that there is still a need for improvement in terms of accessibility, even at university premises in Berlin. Kristina’s goal is to highlight this need and bring about solutions. This includes raising awareness of the topic among those around her. Some adversity notwithstanding, the desire to bring things to a positive conclusion always wins out with Kristina. Resignation is a word that has no place in her vocabulary.
