Donning
Turn the silicone material inside out or roll it up, place it on the end of the residual limb and align it. Roll the silicone over the residual limb without soft tissue displacement or air pockets. Briefly lift the proximal edge to relieve tension in the skin.
Doffing
Turn the silicone material inside out and remove the prosthesis from the residual limb. To do this, pull carefully on the tab.
Waterproof and easy to clean
The Skeo Up Daily Assist is particularly suitable for use in wet areas, e.g. for personal hygiene. To clean the prosthesis, we recommend washing the inside and outside by hand with warm water and neutral soap. Soap residue should then be rinsed off thoroughly with clean water. A towel can be placed inside the prosthesis to dry it, which should then be laid flat to dry for example on a clothes horse.
Clamping Tool
Our clamping tool (adapter) is uniquely shaped and adheres securely to the silicone. It can be easily pulled out for cleaning or replacement. To insert the clamping tool into the hand/palm, simply push it in. To remove it, pull the clamping tool out slowly. Clamping tool can be replaced if broken or lost.
Trimming to Length
To shorten the product to the desired length, it should be trimmed along the proximal end. The lines can give guidance as a trimming contour using the 719S7 scissors. It is important to ensure a smooth edge to prevent material tearing.
