Motus VR adaptive wheelchair
The name Motus comes from the word "moveo" and describes everything about movement. In addition to the two familiar variants CS and CV, the new Motus family also includes so-called indication-related models. The Motus XXL with its reinforced components is suitable for users weighing up to 140 kg. The Motus HEMI variant, on the other hand, was specially designed for the care of patients with hemiplegia. The challenge here is that both the individual (residual) abilities and support needs must always be taken into account. e.g. mobility of a leg should be used, paralysed body parts should be supported.
Improved stability
The Motus CV has a closed front frame and single-panel foot plate. This provides enhanced stability and reduces the weight.
Removable leg supports
The removable, swing-away leg supports on the Motus CV provide added mobility and let users drive up closer to furniture, for example.
Comfortable to push
Folding push handles can be chosen as an option.Height-adjustable push handles are also available to improve comfort for attendants.
Drive wheel attachment device
The vertical drive wheel attachment device was optimised and fits in with the modern design of the Motus. It also offers numerous advantages in terms of adjusting the wheelchair to the individual.
Stylish side panel
The side panel features a dynamic design. It is available in all the frame colours or in carbon.

The Motus folds up easily and quickly for transport.
All Motus models were developed to support wheelchair users around the world. They are individually adjustable, stylish and reliable companions for everyday life with a wheelchair.
An adjustable back support is included as standard. This ensures the back support can be flexibly adjusted according to the requirements.
We developed a completely new desk side panel with an adjustable depth for the Motus. This additional function provides greater freedom of movement in everyday life, for example, by making it easy to drive up to tables.
Being independent in day-to-day life
Barbara’s disease cost her her job, her independence and a big chunk of self-confidence. But life goes on. Today, she sees herself as manager of her body. The mother of two has always been open to using mobility devices. “Mobility devices help people who need them. So I really don’t understand why some patients resist them so strongly. Sooner or later, MS or no MS, everyone gets to a point where they need a device. So doesn’t it make far more sense to choose your own device for your own needs?” Barbara asks. With a device, users can participate in life without always being reliant on other people. “My wheelchair is part of me, just like my family. I’ve learned to accept that, and I’m okay with it. My motto is never give up, and let others make the calls where need be.”
Can anyone claim to have an easy life?
Wiktor began using a wheelchair around eight years ago. But it hasn’t stopped him taking life by the horns. On the contrary! The MS patient wants to be a role model for other wheelchair users. “Life goes on. Many activities are easier nowadays for people with disabilities than they were in the past. But there are still many obstacles and plenty of room for improvement,” reports the lawyer from Poland. “It’s hard to believe, but too many court buildings are not wheelchair accessible. That’s got to change – and a whole lot more besides!”
