Prosthetic liners

The 6Y45 silicone liner is suitable for high-quality compression therapy. This liner is easy for nursing staff and the patient themselves to handle and can undergo a decontamination process so it can be reused on up to seven patients. The decontamination process can be completed up to six times, with sterilisation in the autoclave at 121 °C, 15 psi for 30 min. The 6Y45 compression liner can be combined with the shuttle lock.

The 6Y44 silicone liner is suitable for high-quality compression therapy. This liner is easy for nursing staff and the patient themselves to handle and can undergo a decontamination process so it can be reused on up to seven patients. The decontamination process can be completed up to six times, with sterilisation in the autoclave at 121 °C, 15 psi for 30 min. The 6Y44 compression liner can be combined with a valve.

The difference is clear. Thanks to its transparency, the Skeo Pure makes it easier to visually check the fit and skin condition, for example in case of interim fittings. Its silky-smooth exterior makes it easy to put on and take off the prosthesis without donning spray. The quick-drying liner with no textile cover is perfect for bathing and swimming prostheses. All liners in the Skeo product range are durable, easy to clean, have good adhesion properties and provide stability – ideal for residual limbs with large amounts of soft tissue.
The 6Y43 Skeo (TT) can be combined with the shuttle lock.

Adapter

After a leg amputation, patients want to ensure that they can resume their usual everyday activities under the best possible conditions even with a prosthesis. This primarily requires the ability to perform turning and rotation movements of the knee joint. Ottobock has developed a rotation adapter for this purpose which makes everyday life easier for you in a number of ways. Next to sitting in comfort, activities such as putting on socks and shoes or driving a car are more convenient as well. For example, you can swing your prosthesis out of the way while driving, which not only provides more space in the footwell but also prevents the prosthetic foot from getting caught in the area of the pedals. Furthermore, the rotation adapter allows you to cross your legs and even sit cross-legged.
The 4R57 rotation adapter is approved for a body weight of up to 150 kilograms and is now also available in a waterproof version. Your orthopaedics specialist will be happy to advise you regarding your specific requirements.
