I understand... until now, amputees in fashion were never part of your view.

That’s why I want to share this with you. So from here on, when you create an image or a video, of an amputee, you have what it takes.

  • Make it look stylish.
  • Make it look fun, expressive and cool.
  • But foremost true.

I’m sharing these moments to help build datasets of authentic images of people with limb loss and limb differences. From our community, to AI.

Datasets based on real experiences, real bodies, and real lives.

Changing representation within AI - powered by Microsoft technology.

There are two Limb Difference & Prosthetic Representation Datasets, one for the upper limb and one for the lower limb community. Both are available to download on Hugging Face, the world’s leading platform for open AI data.
Developers, researchers and designers can use them to train or fine-tune AI models, so that the images AI generates of people with limb loss and limb differences are more accurate, more human and more dignified.
