Raphael Rozbicki
Raphael began his professional career in 2012 with a dual study program at Ottobock. Since 2015, he has been part of the Business Development team for the EEMEA region, initially overseeing the upper limb segment. He also spent a year abroad at Ottobock’s subsidiary in Poznań, Poland, where he was responsible for developing, planning, and implementing sales and marketing initiatives.
Since 2021, he has been leading the entire prosthetics segment. Raphael has played a key role in developing and contributing to projects such as Early Rehab, a holistic early rehabilitation approach, the Diabetes Concept and the user-centric initiative Back to Work.

Gisela Höflinger
Gisela joined Ottobock in 2019 as a Product Manager for the Genium and X3, becoming part of the product management team for lower limb prosthetics in Vienna. During this time, she focused on elevating the quality of these products to the highest standards. In 2020, she took on the role of Product Manager in the development of the Genium X4.
After her first maternity leave, she rejoined the X4 development team, playing a key role in leading the Launch Excellence Team (LET) while also overseeing the in-market management of Genium and X3. Since returning from her second maternity leave in November 2024, Gisela has been serving as the Product Manager for the entire Genium family within the PM cluster for high-active users, kids, and sports.

Frederik Thiede
Frederik is an expert and trainer for lower limb prostheses. He is a specialist for:
Biomechanics & aligment recommendations
Hip disarticulation prostheses and Helix Hip joint system
Genium X4, Genium, X3, C-Leg, Meridium, Empower and Socket-Technologies
Frederik has been working at the Global Academy of Ottobock since 2010. His passion: "In order to achieve the best for our patients, the transfer of knowledge in the field of orthopaedic technology is an important building block for the best possible prostheses!"

Prof. Dr. Bernd Schwien
After a life-changing motorcycle accident at the age of 19 in 1983, in which he lost his left leg, Bernd refused to let a prosthetic leg define his limits. His determination to maintain a high quality of life ultimately led him to Ottobock in 1991, where he became the first C-Leg user and played the key role from 1994 on as the first product manager in the introduction of microprocessor-controlled knee joints.
Today, Bernd is a professor of nonprofit management (financing) at the University of Applied Sciences in Nordhausen. The ambitious hobby pilot enjoys travelling and is active in sports as well. What excites him most about the new Genium X4 is its effortless walking experience and outstanding functionality. For him, the greatest thing is: "Most people around me don’t see me as a person with a disability, yet they are still aware of it."

Christoph Eckermann
Christoph is an experienced expert in lower limb prosthetics, specializing in sports prostheses and microprocessor-controlled knee joints. With extensive therapeutic experience as a trainer for the Genium X4, Genium X3, Genium, C-Leg, and Kenevo, he provides in-depth knowledge and practical expertise in advanced prosthetic solutions.
Christoph has been a member of Ottobock since 2017, bringing over eight years of experience to the field. His passion: "Showing the user the best possible way to have a successful rehabilitation after an amputation and share my knowledge with therapeutical colleagues all over the world."
