Orthopox lamination resin is a transparent, epoxy-based resin for fabricating thin-walled, sturdy laminates using lamination technology. Thanks to excellent impregnation and bonding to the reinforcement fibres, it offers a very high level of component quality like prepreg technology and a higher structural strength compared to acrylic resins. The curing time of the lamination resin can be controlled by the temperature, and the component can be individually coloured with the Ottobock colour pastes.

Unlike our other resins, the Orthocryl sealing resin is not suitable for laminating. The acrylic resin is only used for sealing and bonding. Combined with fillers, it can be used to produce fillers.

Ottobock flax fibres for TT and TF sockets are a sustainable alternative to carbon fibres. They are easy to model and do not require any additional tools or methods. The fibres are available in a combination of unidirectional and bidirectional fabrics, tapes and tubes for different requirements for the stability and strength of the socket. Ottobock flax fibres are processed in a similar way to carbon and can be combined with nearly all Ottobock resins. We recommend using OrthoEpox GreenLine resin 617HG5 to produce a particularly sustainable laminate. Our tested layout plan 646T786 explains in detail how our flax fibres are processed in combination with a lamination disc or a lamination anchor to create a secure socket. No further training in material processing is required.

OrthoEpox GreenLine is a sustainable epoxy resin which consists of 50 % renewable raw materials and is used for the fabrication of lightweight, thin-walled yet sturdy laminates in prosthetics and orthotics.

Orthovinyl lamination resin is a vinyl ester-based resin that is easy to process and can be used to fabricate thin-walled, stable laminates.
Due to its structure, it bonds to carbon fibre more effectively than an acrylic resin. This achieves a high degree of stiffness at a low laminate wall thickness, which falls between that of an acrylic resin and that of an epoxy resin.
Nevertheless, Orthovinyl can be processed as quickly and easily as an acrylic resin. The standard Ottobock 617P37&#61;0.150 hardener can be used.

Preforms represent a new generation in transfemoral socket fabrication.
Highly rigid frame and container sockets can be produced with little effort by using precut carbon elements.

The 616B60 resin film was developed especially to support the fabrication of exceptionally sturdy and lightweight prostheses and orthoses using lamination technology.
This clean processing method for producing components simplifies the lamination process and increases the efficiency of the workflow. The required component characteristics are guaranteed thanks to a resin content that is precise and adjustable.
Only a vacuum oven and a vacuum pump are required to use the resin film, in addition to a freezer/refrigerator. Common reinforcement materials can still be used; however, additional fixation of the material is no longer required.

Orthocryl lamination resin 80:20 Speed is a lamination resin for fabricating small components within the field of prosthetics and orthotics.
It has the same mechanical properties but cures more quickly than the proven classic Orthocryl lamination resin 80:20 (617H19). Small components can be laminated more quickly thanks to the shorter curing time. Ottobock hardening powders and pigment pastes can be easily mixed with Orthocryl lamination resin 80:20 Speed.
Developed especially for laminations, this resin helps attain fittings of the highest quality in combination with our proven reinforcement materials.
