After acute ankle injuries or in case of chronic instabilities, the modern active orthosis securely stabilises your ankle. Meanwhile you are still able to tilt your foot up and down – so that your freedom of movement is not restricted while walking or during sports.
The excellent anatomical fit, comfortable padding and the breathable, skin-friendly material ensure a high level of wearer comfort.

With the heel relief orthosis, you regain your mobility quickly and can return to your accustomed everyday life – with no need for crutches.
Your heel floats in the orthosis thanks to its unique design. Special sole and pressure build-up pads gradually increase the load on the heel bone. This promotes and considerably speeds up the healing process. The heel relief orthosis makes a largely physiological gait pattern possible.

The GoOn acts as an entry-level option for users with minor limitations of the dorsiflexion musculature, helping them to become familiar with wearing a device and the benefits it offers. The AFO helps hold the user to hold their foot in a neutral position. It makes walking safer and prevents tripping.
What&#039;s more, the GoOn can also be worn without shoes. Thanks to the spring on the arch of the foot, the sole of the shoe remains untouched. This allows the user to wear practically any lace-up shoe, and even wear shoes with different heel heights. The spring filaments mean that the lifting force can be adjusted as required: the foot is gently guided and held in a torsionally stable manner.

Following a stroke, for example, many individuals are often affected by drop foot and the foot assumes what is called a supination position. The toes can no longer be properly lifted in this case, so there is a risk of stumbling. The Malleo Neurexa pro is an orthosis with a foot lifting effect that can also counteract the effects of a developing spasticity thanks to its special alignment.
The orthosis can be worn during the day, at night and even without footwear.

And its air cushion allows compression to be applied simply and precisely, without any additional tools. The Infinity Air Walker stands for the ultimate in wearer comfort and is available in two socket lengths (low and high).

The Dyna Ankle is primarily used to treat lateral ligament ruptures, but it is also highly suitable for the treatment of medial ligament ruptures. Sprains of the upper ankle with lateral ligament rupture usually occur as a result of excessive plantar flexion and supination strain. The talofibular anterior ligament is always affected, so relieving strain on this outer ligament is important in terms of treatment. The Dyna Ankle dynamic ankle brace was developed for functional treatment and places the foot in a position with slight pronation and dorsal extension. Plantar flexion and supination are restricted via a dynamic restraint, while the degree of pronation and dorsal extension motion is unrestricted.

Falling or twisting the ankle, which often occurs during sports, can cause ligament injuries. In many cases, an operation followed by several weeks of immobilisation used to be unavoidable. Thanks to modern braces such as the Malleo TriStep multi-function brace, an operation is often no longer required. Patients can bear weight on their foot and move it sooner as well. The 28U90 lower leg orthosis from Ottobock is used for drop foot (peroneal weakness). It lifts the forefoot during walking and simultaneously limits foot flexion in the upper ankle joint, in the direction of the sole. The thin-walled polypropylene construction not only provides effective support, but is also comfortably lightweight. In addition, the long sole ensures exact guidance of the foot along with good pressure distribution. The included calf pads and closure straps improve wearer comfort and permit flexible adjustment.

The ankle-foot orthosis is made of a modern carbon fibre prepreg material which is very lightweight. A carbon spring at the back extends from the Achilles tendon to the calf. The ankle joint is stabilised at the same time.
