Socket technologies | A holistic view
A good socket as a prerequisite for mobility. Non-amputees move best with the right footwear. Amputees move best with the right socket. This training provides an entertaining bird's eye view of central topics in the field of socket technologies, illustrates what makes a good socket and sensitizes to the needs of amputees.

bebionic prosthetic hand small - Tutorial: thumb adjustment contact point
This how-to video shows the thumb adjustment to contact point of the bebionic hand small. The adjustment option makes it possible to optimize the contact point of the thumb with the opposite index and middle fingers (for the tripod grip), or with the index finger only (pinch and precision grips). The adjustment screw is located below the CMC joint of the thumb. Perform the following steps to make the adjustments. Always read the IFU of the bebionic hand carefully before start adjusting the hand.

Meridium - Safety Mode
In safety mode (for example, when the battery is drained) the Meridium switches to individually set resistances for Plantar and DF. The standing stop is not available. The values set by the OT should provide a compromise between statics and dynamics. This video shows the impact and training of walking in safety mode, on level surfaces, on ramps and on stairs.

Meridium - MyModes
The Meridium has MyModes for special types of movement (e.g., golf, ...). These are preset via the adjustment software by the orthopedic technician. This video shows the change of the MyMode using the movement pattern and as an example the use of a home trainer.

Stance Flexion Resistance
X-Soft recommends a value for the stance flexion resistance based on the user data that was entered. Work together with the user to further refine this value.
Activity Mode C
Prosthetics Lower Limb
Kenevo
Activity Mode C
Mode C is appropriate for users who have moderate control over their residual limb, can handle a variety of everyday situations and can walk short to medium distances outdoors. The stance phase is not locked but exhibits a high level of damping. The swing phase can be released earlier, which promotes more dynamic movements. The stance phase flexion damping has to be customized in advance.
