The key element of the new 3R106 Pro is the servo-pneumatic control. Its powerful dual-chamber pneumatic unit with progressive damping properties has a flexion valve that the O&P professional sets for the user’s normal walking speed. At faster walking speeds, the flexion resistance increases auto-adaptively, which prevents excessive flexion of the knee joint. As a result, pendulum movements in the swing phase are smoothly controlled, even at higher walking speeds. The integrated, automatic quick venting of the flexion chamber ensures that smooth extension movement is possible even at higher walking speeds – so a greater range of walking speeds is supported.

Free your mind and unlock your true potential with the Genium X4: an Ottobock next-generation microprocessor knee (MPK) that sets a new standard for performance, durability and customization.
With the Genium X4, every movement – big, small, forward, backward or beyond – flows smoothly from everyday tasks to work and family activities, to the biggest movements in life. Read on to discover the breakthrough design, digital solutions and customizable features that make this possible.

Do you need a reliable partner that helps you easily overcome a variety of challenges, both at work and in everyday life?
Dynion lets active users like you do things such as walking down stairs and ramps, walking dynamically in all directions, cycling and swimming in fresh, salt and chlorinated water.

The Genium X3 has now been developed even further for smoother, more intuitive walking, improved safety, and better support in everyday situations. Additionally, the Genium X3 is simple to control using the Cockpit app on your iPhone or Android smartphone.
Building on the unique functionality of the Genium leg prosthesis, the Genium X3 is particularly robust and resilient. Physically demanding occupations, an active family life, swimming and sports activities, and situations where you encounter water, dust, sand, dirt, or grime – these are the ideal conditions for the Genium X3.

With the market launch of the Genium leg prosthesis in 2011, Ottobock opened up entirely new horizons for prosthesis wearers: an unprecedented, natural gait pattern, climbing stairs step-over-step, overcoming obstacles, walking backwards, relaxed standing – to name just a few. For the first time, people with a transfemoral amputation experienced a range of new functions that provided perfect support for their desire to live a more active and independent everyday life.
Based on human movement as the model, the Genium has been developed even further. The result is a noticeably smoother gait and even better support and safety in everyday situations, for instance on ramps, in confined spaces, or when changing walking speeds.

Users with lower mobility appreciate our Prosedo knee joint for deliberately supporting their efforts to sit down. Featuring a hydraulic sitting assist function our mechanical locking knee Prosedo 3R31 is best suited for older users. An individually adaptable (according to body weight) hydraulic sitting assist makes it easier for them to sit down on a bed or chair. After releasing the manual lock, the flexion resistance deliberately supports the sitting down procedure. The user may then shift his/her weight equally on both legs – the prosthetic leg and the sound leg. This not only leads to an improved balance, but also reduces the strain on the unaffected side.

Since its launch in 2015, the Kenevo microprocessor knee fundamentally changed prosthetics for low to moderately active amputees. This prosthetic knee was designed to provide you with a greater sense of security so you can live the life you deserve.
Microprocessor-controlled knees have been shown to reduce the risk of falls by up to 80%1 in moderately active persons, as well as improve the indicators of fall risk, such as fear of falling.2
With key features such as Stumble Recovery Plus, supported stand-to-sit and sit-to-stand, wheelchair mode, and putting on the prosthesis while seated, it is no wonder users feel more confident and independent than ever before.

The 3R92 knee joint with friction brake is suitable for users with a moderate activity level and ensures safety in the stance phase. For you as a user, this means that the integrated brake activates when weight is placed on the heel and thereby stabilises the prosthesis. This results in high stance phase stability. When the load shifts back to the front of your foot, the braking mechanism deactivates automatically so you can initiate the swing phase more easily. Elevating the hip is not necessary to initiate the swing phase. In addition, the plastic covers protect the mechanical components of the joints while also shielding a foam cover, if used.

A sports knee joint has to withstand the high loads that develop and act on the prosthesis while running. The familiar, patented principle of rotation hydraulics is used in a modified form in the 3S80 Sport as well. The joint is also equipped with a manual lock. Compact and robust, the 3S80 Sport is optimized for any type of running.
The lower leg of the prosthesis swings through freely to an angle of about 60° in the flexion direction. Even at high stride rates, a smooth extension stop is ensured by extension damping applied along the entire extension movement, which increases significantly shortly before reaching the end position. Flexion and extension damping can be adjusted separately and individually.
*Specific adaptations are available on request.

We have developed a knee joint especially for rehabilitation after amputation, supporting initial walking and standing exercises in the course of your interim prosthetic fitting. Until you receive your final prosthetic fitting, the 3R93 provides valuable support while you get accustomed to your leg prosthesis.
The knee joint features straightforward adjustment and functionality that can be adapted to your individual need for safety. You activate the knee flexion required for sitting down yourself by using a pull cable. Approved for a body weight up to 330 lbs, the joint is suitable for prosthesis wearers with low to moderate mobility.
The 3R93's sleek look was recognized with a product design award in 2012.

Uncertain and less active prosthesis wearers can activate the lock for added safety in the stance phase. For use in the unlocked state, it is possible to adjust the dynamic flexion and extension resistances separately from one another for swing phase control according to the individual needs of the amputee, as with the 3R95. Flood holes to the right and left on the joint body allow the knee joint to flood when entering the water and facilitate joint cleaning.
