The wheelchairs in the kidevo family promote active and independent mobility of the child. This includes the practical transfer handles and steering aids.
The wheelchairs in the kidevo family are available with a tilt function. These include the kidevo mini.t, the kidevo prime.t and the kidevo adapt. The tilt mechanism works without a gas pressure spring. This reduces weight and cuts down on time-consuming repairs. The wheelchair’s centre of gravity also remains unaffected by the extent of the tilting, providing constant stability.
The mud cruiser is an outdoor wheel that can be mounted onto the wheelchair frame in seconds without the need for any tools. The wheel can be easily adjusted and dismantled into its individual parts for transportation in no time at all. Whether you’re tackling uneven terrain in nature or cobblestones in the city, the mud cruiser can handle anything.
More options such as belts, therapy trays and handrim nubs can be added. It is also possible to add spoke protector decor for extra personalisation.
Always on the move
Nomine, a bubbly girl from the Harz region in Germany, loves adventure, spending time with her family and friends, and dancing and singing in her kidevo mini.t wheelchair. Her incomplete paraplegia means that she needs a wheelchair for everyday life, but she doesn’t let that slow her down. “I’m as fast as lightning”, she laughs. Her kidevo mini.t is purple, her favourite colour, with a colourful spoke protector to match.
kidevo prime
The kidevo prime is the reliable all-rounder of the range. Developed for children until they reach young adulthood. The wheelchair has a modular design and, depending on the configuration, can be dismantled into the seating unit, chassis, back unit and wheels, making it very easy to transport. It is suitable for both active and passive users. The kidevo prime is also available with a tilting function (kidevo prime.t). Thanks to its mechanical functionality, the wheelchair can be tilted between -10° and 50° without affecting the centre of gravity or stability. The driving behaviour can be adjusted to suit the level of activity at any time. Each wheelchair is tailor-made for the child (no standard sizes) and grows with them in width, depth and height.
