Soft rollover
Soft rollover at slow walking speeds

The continuous spring design with no screws passing through provides you with the required stability for your daily activities and a soft rollover.

Maintaining ground clearance

FAQS

Answers for you

Can the Kintrol be integrated into my prosthesis?

The Kintrol prosthetic foot can be integrated into either a new or an existing modular prosthesis, provided it has sufficient build height. Your O&P professional will advise you on this.

Do I need to wear special shoes with the Kintrol?

No, the Kintrol is delivered with a footshell that is based on the shape of the human foot and is therefore compatible with most common types of shoes. The abducted big toe on the footshell even makes it possible to wear thong sandals.

Is the Kintrol waterproof?

No, the Kintrol is not waterproof, which means that submersing it is not permitted. However, it is a weatherproof prosthetic foot and can withstand a rain shower, which makes it ideal for everyday use.

Is the Kintrol prosthetic foot right for me?

The Kintrol prosthetic foot was designed for less active to moderately active users (mobility grades 1–2) who mainly navigate indoor environments and use a walking aid outdoors, and place a high value on reliable support from their prosthetic foot. It is suitable for users weighing up to 136 kg. Users with both transfemoral and transtibial amputations can benefit from the flexible prosthetic foot.

Is the Kintrol available in my size?

The prosthetic foot is available in sizes from 23 to 30 cm. Your O&P professional selects the Kintrol for you based on your foot size and body weight.

Can I test the Kintrol?

Yes, of course you can test the Kintrol prosthetic foot. Please just speak to your O&P professional.
