Amputations above the elbow constitute a special challenge since the function of the elbow has to be replaced in addition to that of the hand. The DynamicArm elbow joint makes virtually natural movements possible with its special technology. Controlled by your muscle signals, the DynamicArm is driven by an electric motor. The control unit of the DynamicArm also transmits the muscle signals to the prosthetic hand, so that you are able to rotate the wrist unit in addition to opening and closing the hand with short response times. You can extend and flex the DynamicArm as well.
We recommend combining the DynamicArm with the Ottobock VariPlus Speed. It is equipped with a high-performance drive unit, and opens and closes almost three times as fast as other electric hands. A fitting with the DynamicArm and VariPlus Speed restores numerous abilities to hold objects, grasp and be active at work, in everyday life and recreation.

The strengths of the ErgoArm (article no. 12K50) adapted for the Axon-Bus system.
With the AxonArm Ergo, the elbow joint is unlocked using myoelectric signals with an electronic elbow lock.
The AxonEnergy Integral provides power to the prosthetic components. All cables disappear inside the prosthesis, reducing the risk of defects caused by broken cables and enhancing the appearance.
Up to three electrodes can be connected with the AxonMaster, which is plugged into the elbow ball.

The DynamicArm Plus elbow joint is intended for the treatment of users with transhumeral or higher amputation levels who are able to use more than two EMG signals to control their prosthesis, for example after a TMR operation.

Every human body part is unique in shape and colour. Especially in case of arm and hand amputations, the visual design is crucial for acceptance in addition to restoring functionality. Custom-made silicone covers fabricated by hand for arm prostheses make it possible to restore the outside appearance with deceiving realism. Thanks to the detailed anatomical and visual design possibilities for silicone covers, the arm prosthesis is not noticeable to others.
Every cover is one of a kind and features a number of benefits. Next to UV and temperature resistance, key advantages include greater resistance to dirt and ease of cleaning with water and ph-neutral soap. If you opt for a cover in the &#34;Natural&#34; design, you can influence, prior to completion in Ottobock Service Fabrication, the final appearance of your arm prosthesis.

This component is ideally suited for use in hybrid prostheses with a myoelectric hand and elbow joint lock, which are operated using a body harness. Electric cables can be artfully concealed inside the prosthesis thanks to the “Easy Plug” integrated cable guide. It also makes it easy to connect the electrode and battery cables to the elbow ball. This not only reduces the risk of a defect (e.g. due to broken cables) but also helps the prosthesis integrate more smoothly into your overall appearance.

The ErgoArm Electronic plus can be locked and released using various electronic signals or a switch. This is done quickly and inconspicuously – even under high joint loads.
