With the new 3D L.A.S.A.R. Posture, cameras take a live recording of the patient standing on the measuring plate and transmit the image to a tablet PC. The measured forces are represented as lines on the tablet’s display, which are positioned with millimetre accuracy over the patient’s image.

The station contains everything necessary for disinfecting the hands and for cleaning and disinfecting orthopaedic devices.
When developing it, special emphasis was placed on interrupting the chain of transmission. The disinfectant and soap dispensers and the tap can be operated with the forearm. In addition, all surfaces are stainless steel so they can be easily cleaned and disinfected.

The best way to prevent transmission is avoiding direct face-to-face contact. But this isn’t possible in many cases. This is where the mobile protective screen is the perfect solution. The screen is simply mounted on the counter, thereby considerably reducing the direct transmission route. The protective screen is made of high-quality, transparent plastic.

High-viscosity silicone consists of two components that are first mixed together and then rolled out into sheets. The next step is the custom tinting to match the patient’s skin colour.

Ottobock&#039;s sets for drying plaster with compressed air help you save valuable time when drying plaster models. This technique involves a 5-m-long porous hose and a compressed air hose with a ball valve, quick couplings and five heat-resistant adapters. The hose is cut to the appropriate length to fit the plaster model and embedded in the plaster model with the compressed air adapter.
When compressed air flows into the hose via the ball valve, the porous structure of the hose distributes the compressed air evenly in the plaster. This lets excess water flow out of the plaster in a controlled manner without causing cracks in the plaster.
This process can significantly reduce the time required for drying a plaster model. As the components are heat-resistant to 130 °C, the plaster model can later be used in the Ottobock plaster drying oven or Ottobock convection and prepreg ovens for further drying and for processing carbon and prepreg materials.

The laminating island features a compact, well-conceived design. It has four fully equipped workstations with two vacuum connections each (one with variable vacuum), an Orthofix clamping device and an optional casting assist – while taking up minimal space.
The required roll material can be stored directly at the workstation for efficient laminating work. The mobile material cart with an integrated cutting surface is an additional aid. It also ensures materials and tools are always close to hand.
Workers’ health is also protected. Slots integrated in the laminating island extract vapours efficiently. A flexibly adjustable suction arm (optional) can also be attached.
