The Pedilan vacuum forming plate surface prevents the plastic from sticking to the vacuum forming plate. The vacuum tube is also equipped with a quick-change system for exchanging the vacuum forming plate. This saves storage space, and the vacuum tube can remain clamped in place at all times as well.

The sprinkle can is used to safely and efficiently moisten cotton cloths and sponges with acetone, isopropyl alcohol and other liquids used in your workshop as cleaning agents.
With the sprinkle can, cleaning fluids can be applied in controlled quantities. This saves you money and helps protect the environment by using cleaning agents efficiently. Key feature: thanks to the design, unused liquid automatically flows from the wetting plate back into the container.

Workshop Equipment

The machine offers a complete grinding, sanding, scouring and polishing system at a width of just 115 cm. Despite its compact design, there is plenty of room around the two sanding belts for processing lasts. The machine can also be installed at two different heights for an optimal ergonomic working position. So it’s no surprise that the Flexam Compact 115B is extremely popular in workshops with a limited amount of space, as well as in larger ones

Despite their compact design, the machines in the Flexam FSB series offer plenty of space between the sanding belts. Sanding work can therefore be carried out safely and comfortably.The machines also have two bayonet connectors, a buffer and a milling section with a heel milling tool and 3 sole milling tools.The machines are equipped with numerous intelligent solutions to make work even more efficient. Standard features include modern sensor technology, which automatically switches the extraction system on and off, automatic height adjustment and flexibly adjustable LED lighting.The machines in the Flexam FSB series are rounded off by the cabinet unit, which keeps the workstation tidy and clean thanks to its many storage options.

The machines in the Flexam LSB Executive series were developed especially for processing lasts. That’s why the pneumatic abrasive rolls are equipped with an especially adapted suctioning area. Optimum suctioning of fine dust as well as coarse chips is ensured. The Flexam LSB Executive series is equipped with two sanding belts (with narrow or wide sanding belts depending on the version (40 mm and 100 mm)) as well as a powerful naumkeag motor. Thanks to the belt spacing of 472 mm, sufficient space is provided to also process larger last models. All grinding and milling workstations are equipped with their own extraction channel. The 701L24&#61;FLSB version also includes a milling section with a sole milling tool and three heel milling tools.

The Flexam Executive S series is ideally suited to the processing of insoles and footbeds. Its compact form together with careful attention to the smallest details provide a comfortable work environment in the most restricted of spaces. Whichever variant you select, whether with one sanding belt or two and/or with one or two bayonet connectors, the machine is efficient and flexible in daily use. The wide spacing between the sanding belts even allows two people to work on the machines at the same time.
The standout feature of the entire Flexam series is the highly efficient, low-noise chip extraction system. Each of the sanding belts and tools on the machine has its own extraction channel. These are opened and controlled via a sensor to precisely match the flow, thus saving energy while providing optimal extraction performance. Combining this with Ottobock extraction systems can yield additional energy and cost efficiencies. Fully automated communication between the machines regulates the performance of the extraction system and reduces electricity consumption. Efficient fine dust extraction is supplemented by an additional air curtain between the sanding belt and the operator.

The station contains everything necessary for disinfecting the hands and for cleaning and disinfecting orthopaedic devices.
When developing it, special emphasis was placed on interrupting the chain of transmission. The disinfectant and soap dispensers and the tap can be operated with the forearm. In addition, all surfaces are stainless steel so they can be easily cleaned and disinfected.

The best way to prevent transmission is avoiding direct face-to-face contact. But this isn’t possible in many cases. This is where the mobile protective screen is the perfect solution. The screen is simply mounted on the counter, thereby considerably reducing the direct transmission route. The protective screen is made of high-quality, transparent plastic.

Ottobock&#039;s sets for drying plaster with compressed air help you save valuable time when drying plaster models. This technique involves a 5-m-long porous hose and a compressed air hose with a ball valve, quick couplings and five heat-resistant adapters. The hose is cut to the appropriate length to fit the plaster model and embedded in the plaster model with the compressed air adapter.
When compressed air flows into the hose via the ball valve, the porous structure of the hose distributes the compressed air evenly in the plaster. This lets excess water flow out of the plaster in a controlled manner without causing cracks in the plaster.
This process can significantly reduce the time required for drying a plaster model. As the components are heat-resistant to 130 °C, the plaster model can later be used in the Ottobock plaster drying oven or Ottobock convection and prepreg ovens for further drying and for processing carbon and prepreg materials.
