Auto-adaptive plastic shells
Plastic shells on the distal and proximal end of the brace automatically adapt to the contours of the leg when the straps are tightened, ensuring a high level of wearer comfort.
Numbered straps
To make the brace easy to put on and take off, the straps are numbered in the sequence they have to be fastened. The brace is versatile in application. A front upper strap is included as an option for easy modifications. It is delivered in the ACL version.
Anatomical tibia pad
Easy and pain-free application
The frontal application of the Genu Arexa makes it comfortable to put on.
Click-2-go system
The medically required movement limits can be adjusted quickly and without tools thanks to the innovative Click-2-go system. The option of adjusting the brace to the individual knee width using spacers makes it possible to adapt the width of the brace to the degree of knee swelling, for example.
Slim and lightweight design
The entire brace is designed for a high level of patient compliance. The slim design plays an important role in this regard, making it possible to wear the brace close to the body and unobtrusively under clothing. Another important factor is the low weight of the brace (size M: 530 g), which offers the patient the greatest possible freedom of movement.

Genu Arexa - guides and stabilises
Years of experience show that a knee brace such as the Genu Arexa helps stabilise the injured knee after the operation and protects it against unwanted movements. It helps you quickly regain confidence in your own mobility and muscle strength.
The plastic shells of the knee brace automatically adapt to the contours of your leg the first time it is worn. Soft, washable padding ensures ultimate wearer comfort. The height-adjustable tibia pad protects particularly sensitive areas.
Developed by doctors, the Genu Move exercise programme supports the follow-up treatment of your knee injury and enables you to actively contribute to your rehabilitation at home as well. It is aimed at restoring the load-bearing capacity, mobility, strength and coordination of the affected leg.
Putting on and taking off the brace is incredibly simple. You don’t have to step into the brace. Simply place it on the front of your leg and then fasten the straps in numerical order.

Answers for you
What can I do to speed up/support the healing process?
To promote healing as effectively as possible, train your knee from the outset using the Genu Move exercise programme, if possible also at home. Talk to your doctor first.
Do I have to take the brace off during movement training?
No. Especially in the beginning, wear the brace even during the rehabilitation exercises. That makes training safe without putting the graft at risk.
Can I take the brace off overnight?
Even at night, the knee can be moved to joint positions that cause increased strain. It is therefore sensible to wear the brace at night as well.
Why should I wear a brace?
A brace not only protects the cruciate ligament graft, it also supports the therapy of accompanying injuries (meniscus, collateral ligaments and cartilage). A knee brace such as the Genu Arexa stabilises the injured knee, prevents unwanted movements and simultaneously allows you to control weight-bearing on your knee and gradually transition to movement. With the Genu Arexa, you can gradually expand the range of motion after talking to your doctor so that you can soon return to work and everyday activities.
Can I do my daily tasks with the brace?
Please discuss this with your doctor.
How can I clean the brace?
Remove the textile component from the brace.
Fasten all hook-and-loop closures.
Wash the textile component in warm water at 30°C with a standard mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly.
Allow to air dry. Do not expose to direct heat (e.g. sunshine, stove or radiator).
Plastic elements can be wiped with a damp cloth.
