The WalkOn Reaction Junior is intended especially for children with mild neurological deficits of the lower limbs. It offers these children a higher level of overall support than conventional orthoses in this field. The risk of stumbling and falling is reduced and movement patterns are improved.
The dynamic ankle-foot orthosis improves your child’s dorsiflexion and uses ground reaction forces to stabilise both the knee and the ankle joints. Applied to the front of the lower leg, the orthosis helps your child achieve a more stable, largely physiological gait.

With the heel relief orthosis, you regain your mobility quickly and can return to your accustomed everyday life – with no need for crutches.
Your heel floats in the orthosis thanks to its unique design. Special sole and pressure build-up pads gradually increase the load on the heel bone. This promotes and considerably speeds up the healing process. The heel relief orthosis makes a largely physiological gait pattern possible.

Knee-Ankle-Foot orthotics

The E-MAG Active was developed for users who, due to paresis or a complete failure of the knee extensor muscles, are unable to stabilize their knee joint unassisted. An intelligent sensor system measures the leg position while walking and controls the orthosis joint accordingly. The knee joint is unlocked automatically while walking: the leg can swing freely. The PreLock function securely locks your knee joint for the stance phase even if you have not fully extended your leg yet. You can stand safely and walk more naturally with the E-MAG Active. Even users who have no ankle functionality are able to use the E-MAG Active.

The 17KF210 is a free motion orthotic knee joint with a posterior offset for bilateral use. The posterior offset corresponds to the bar width. The knee joint is remarkably easy to handle for processing and maintenance. It can be processed using lamination and prepreg techniques as well as the thermoplastic technique or as a bar-clamp device. Sustainable, reusable steel dummies are available.

Leg & Knee orthotics

We developed the Agilium Freestep 3.0 for the treatment of unicompartmental osteoarthritis of the knee. It is not applied to the knee, but to the foot and lower leg. The Agilium Freestep 3.0 specifically relieves the affected cartilage in the knee joint by shifting the load line in the knee. The load line describes the point where the body weight primarily impacts the cartilage.

The Agilium Vantage knee brace can be worn during everyday and recreational activities. Its key advantage is that the contact pressure can be regulated precisely as needed with just a pull on the Y-shaped strap (dynamic Y system) – relieving the painful side of the knee. Thanks to its slim design, you can also wear the Agilium Vantage while playing sports after speaking with your doctor. The material is soft on the skin, lightweight and breathable.

​​​​​​The microprocessor-controlled C-Brace takes freedom of movement to a completely new level. The C-Brace is the first-ever KAFO that allows users to flex their leg under load (in order to sit down, for example), and to navigate slopes, walk on uneven terrain, or descend stairs step-over-step. And the C-Brace has even more to offer. It’s smaller, so it can also be worn under clothing; and it’s lighter, so the user doesn’t need to exert as much effort when walking. Advanced sensor technology makes the entire gait pattern even more dynamic and responsive. The user can also change settings on their joint, e.g., switching to cycling mode, via a smartphone app.

The Bioness L100 Go system was developed for people with drop foot, which can occur due to diseases of the central nervous system such as a stroke, multiple sclerosis or infantile cerebral palsy. It works on the basis of functional electrical stimulation (FES). With FES, electrical impulses activate the nerves which the central nervous system can no longer control – in this case, the nerves and thus the muscles that are responsible for lifting the foot. This improves your gait pattern, making it smoother and safer. The orthosis can also contribute to muscle rehabilitation and promote mobility in the joint as well as circulation. After a posterior cruciate ligament tear in the knee, the Genu Arexa PCL supports your knee movements when you place weight on it and during periods of rest and recovery – exactly as you require. This is possible thanks to a spring mechanism: the orthosis features a special calf pad, the Dynamic Pad. It adjusts the pressure on the calf at every knee angle. As a result, you always receive exactly the level of support that is appropriate for the respective situation from a medical perspective. Once the orthosis has been adjusted for your specific injury, the Genu Arexa PCL ensures a controlled healing process while giving you a more steady gait and confidence in your own mobility.
