Genu Neurexa
A stroke or peripheral nerve damage can lead to paralysis in the leg. Walking is often difficult, and you may perceive the leg and knee as unstable so that you overextend the knee as soon as you put weight on it.
Here the Genu Neurexa provides good support. It stabilises the knee and prevents overextension of the knee joint. Bending the knee continues to be possible. You can start using the Genu Neurexa even during rehabilitation and gait training – after consulting with your doctor or therapist of course.
Closure
The front closure makes it possible to put on the orthosis in various ways.
Climate-regulating OUTLAST® material
The climate-regulating material counteracts heat development. This reduces perspiration and the orthosis can also be worn for longer periods of time.
Hyperextension strap
The crossover straps prevent overextension (hyperextension) of the knee joint.
Bars
The bars are individually adjustable by your doctor or O&P professional, so that knee movement is limited as required.

Genu Neurexa – stabilising and supportive
The pleasantly soft, temperature-regulating material prevents excessive heating. The Genu Neurexa should be worn directly on the skin to take full advantage of the material properties.
The Genu Neurexa helps prevent overextension of your knee. However, knee flexion continues to be possible. The range of motion can be individually adjusted by your doctor or orthopaedic technician according to your personal situation.
The sooner you begin with rehabilitation, the more successful it can be. The Genu Neurexa supports an early start to rehabilitation, so you can focus on completing your gait training and potentially regain muscle activity more quickly.
You can put on the orthosis without opening the closures, or open them partly or entirely – the choice is yours and depends on what is most comfortable for you or a person who may help you.

Yes, you should wash the orthosis regularly. Please observe the corresponding information in the instructions for use.
Can I put the Genu Neurexa on and take it off on my own?
Yes, the Genu Neurexa makes this possible in several ways. Depending on what is most comfortable for you, you can either slip into the closed orthosis or open the closures fully or partly. All closures are located on the front, so you can see and reach them easily. Depending on your physical condition, you can use the orthosis on your own – but you should let family members or nursing staff help you if needed.
Can I wear the Genu Neurexa all day?
Yes, because the material is very soft and comfortable. It also regulates the temperature, so that perspiration is reduced and wearing it even for extended periods of time does not cause discomfort. Omo Neurexa plus
A stroke or injuries to the central or peripheral nervous system may lead to paralysis in the shoulder. You experience pain, and moving your arm is difficult for you. This results in pain in your shoulder area and restricts your arm movement.
Dislocation of the shoulder joint from the socket is one reason for shoulder pain. The Omo Neurexa plus corrects the alignment of the humerus head with the joint socket, alleviating the cause of the pain. It helps stabilise the shoulder and position it correctly again. The Omo Neurexa plus provides noticeable relief, alleviates pain and leads to a better overall body posture.
Thanks to its special design, the orthosis can now be applied by users themselves with one hand.
