The E-MAG Active was developed for users who, due to muscle weakness or a complete failure of the knee extensor muscles, are unable to stabilise their knee joint unassisted.
An intelligent sensor system measures the leg position while walking and controls the orthosis joint accordingly. Therefore the knee joint is unlocked automatically while walking: the leg can swing freely. The PreLock function securely locks your knee joint for the stance phase even if you have not fully extended your leg yet. You can stand safely and walk more naturally with the E-MAG Active.
Even users who have no ankle functionality whatsoever are able to use the E-MAG Active.

The 17LK3 unilateral knee joint is a system orthotic knee joint with wedge lock. It is particularly attractive thanks to its lightweight design. Its weight classification permits unilateral use for a body weight up to 110 kg and bilateral use for up to 160 kg. The system is suitable for prepreg and lamination resin techniques. The scope of delivery includes a temporary switch for releasing the joint, e.g. for training on a therapy bike.

The FreeWalk features a mechanism that locks the knee joint when in stance phase. The joint is unlocked in the swing phase while walking. Therefore, you can bend your knee and swing your leg freely.
In cases of complete or incomplete leg paralysis – and if you are able to swing the leg forward using the hip or abdominal musculature – this allows you to walk with a virtually natural gait in addition to improving safety and stability. The FreeWalk features a very lightweight and slim design. At the same time, the robust steel structure is extremely reliable.

The 17B23 system knee joint comprises a set of locking knee joints made of stainless steel, used in a modular structure for custom orthoses. The locking function is centralised with a lever that points up. With the 17B23, the medial joint (inner joint) is contoured inward on both sides, while the lateral joint (outer joint) is straight (not contoured).
