TransferScan Scanning fixture

Your digital solution for transferring socket shapes and prosthetic alignment.

TransferScan replaces the conventional plaster molding method for prosthetic socket transfers with a digital process. It enables fast and accurate capture of the socket shape and prosthetic alignment, improving efficiency in the clinical workflow. The digital approach removes the risk of socket damage associated with plaster-based methods, contributing to greater reliability. The original prosthesis can be returned immediately, reducing downtime for the user. TransferScan can also be used from any location, providing flexibility to prosthetic users and healthcare professionals.

From Scan to Socket: The Seamless TransferScan Journey.

The TransferScan process begins with the preparation of the socket, which is detached from the prosthesis and treated with scanning spray to eliminate gloss and close any transparent areas. The socket is then securely mounted on the TransferScan Scanning Device. Using the iFab EasyScan system, the socket shape and prosthetic alignment are digitized with accuracy. The resulting scan can be adjusted in the iFab EasyScan software, after which an order for a test or definitive socket is placed through the iFab Customer Center (iCC). iFab then produces and ships the selected socket option.
