Ottobock has been proudly providing the C-Leg 4 to individuals via NHS England for six years, empowering thousands of people with above knee, through knee, and hip disarticulation amputations to live the healthy, active, and independent life they want.

Now, to celebrate the six-year anniversary we are offering users the opportunity to participate in six unique activities. From dance classes to puppy yoga to a photography masterclass - there is something for everyone. Keep scrolling to discover the full list of experiences we are offering.

This competition is only open to current C-Leg users based in the United Kingdom. Experiences can be taken at any time in the month stated next to its name unless a specific date is stated, then it must be taken on the specified date. Experiences are not transferrable. Some experiences may have height/weight/age restrictions, please refer to each experience for specific requirements. Terms and Conditions apply.

Terms & Conditions

Terms and Conditions of Participation — C-Leg Experiences

1. Organiser

The organiser of the giveaway is Ottobock UK, 32 Parsonage Road, Egham, Surrey.

2. Participant group

a) Persons aged 18 years or older are eligible to enter. Employees of the Ottobock Group and their relatives are excluded from participating. Each participant may only enter the draw one time.

The organiser may exclude participants at any time if there are legitimate reasons to do so. These may include a violation of the terms and conditions of participation, repeated participation, unlawful manipulation of the competition by manual or technical means, membership with a competition association, or similar. In such cases, any winnings may also be subsequently revoked and recalled.

3. Implementation of the giveaway/assignment of rights

a) Participation in the giveaway is free of charge and does not depend on the purchase of goods or services. To participate, individuals are required to select their experience preferences and share their personal experience with Ottobock products by posting text, using the designated function on the Ottobock website. Other prerequisites include registering via the giveaway form, consenting to these Terms and Conditions of Participation as well as submitting the data protection statements that have been laid down there. The participant alone is responsible for ensuring that the contact details provided are correct, in particular their email address. If any of the personal details are incorrect, they may be excluded from the giveaway. In addition, the participant confirms that they are the sole owner of all rights to the data shared by them (text, image, or video) and/or are authorised to make the following assignment of rights: The participant hereby irrevocably grants Ottobock the exclusive right to use their experience and images and/or videos, for an unlimited period of time, in printed and digital form, on TV, on the internet, on social media platforms, and in any other way, for commercial use, in unmodified or modified form (particularly by way of publication, transmission, distribution, broadcast, etc.).

b) The giveaway shall take place in the period from June 26 – October 21, 2023 (deadline for participation).

c) Participates will be selected at random for each experience. The following experiences will be awarded to participants. The number of places per experience is listed in brackets:

1. Go Ape Treetop Challenge (x2) at a Go Ape location of the selected participants choosing.

Experience will take place in August 2023, entries will close 21st July 2023.

2. Zookeeper for a day (x2) with an animal at a location of the selected participants choosing (subject to availability), Ottobock will contact the selected participant to confirm).

Experience will take place in August 2023, entries will close 21st July 2023.

3. Foraging/Gardening Experience (x2), various locations available, Ottobock will contact the selected participant to organise the experience in the most appropriate location.

Experience will take place in September 2023, entries will close 21st August 2023.

4. Photography Experience (x1) in London, exact location TBC.

Experience will take place in October 2023, entries will close 20th September 2023.

5. Dance Class (x2), various locations available. Ottobock will contact the selected participant to organise the experience in the most appropriate location.

Experience will take place in October 2023, entries will close 20th September 2023.

6. Puppy Yoga (x10) in London.

Experience will take place in November 2023 (exact date TBC), entries will close 21st October 2023.

d) Winners will be notified by email at least 10 days before the start of the experience month. If the winner fails to respond within 5 days, their participation in the experience will be forfeited, and another winner selected.

e) Cash payment, payment in tangible assets, or exchange of winnings are not possible. Prizes are non-transferable. Winners accept any changes to the experience that may be necessary as a result of factors beyond the control of the companies participating in the giveaway.

f) The successful entry notification will be sent to the email address provided by the participant when declaring their participation. If a successful entry notification cannot be delivered, Ottobock is not obliged to investigate further.

g) Participants are not required to pay any fees for the experience. The participant shall bear the travel cost to the experience, any food or drink purchased while traveling to/from and participating in the experience as well as line and conveyance costs incurred according to the rates of their chosen mobile phone or internet provider. Ottobock will not accept any out-of-pocket expenses occurred by the participant(s) for the experience unless there is prior agreement in writing.

4. Final provisions

a) No legal appeal is admitted.

c) Should any of these provisions be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall hereby remain unaffected.
