Dr. Hahn is the Corporate Vice President of Clinical Research and Services at Otto Bock, where he leads the company’s global clinical research strategy and implementation.
With a PhD in physics from Oxford University, Dr. Hahn brings over 25 years of leadership experience in the medical device industry.

Throughout his career, he has been recognized for his contributions to prosthetics research, receiving the prestigious AOPA Thranhardt Lecture Award in 2014, 2019, and 2021. His award-winning work includes investigations of the influence of mobility grade rating in the response of limited community ambulators to MPKs and the utilization of health economic instruments in prosthetics.

The Benefits of the Exopulse Mollii Suit in Rehabilitation: From Literature to Clinical Practice.

Serena Filoni, MD is a specialist in Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine and a leading expert in neurorehabilitation, with more than 15 years of experience in clinical practice, research, and healthcare leadership. She currently serves as Medical Director and Research Lead at the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation of IRCCS Ospedale Casa Sollievo della Sofferenza, Italy.

In addition to her clinical role, Dr. Filoni is actively involved in scientific leadership, healthcare management, academic teaching, and professional education. She contributes to the advancement of rehabilitation medicine through research, education, service development, and healthcare innovation.

Dr. Filoni's clinical and scientific expertise spans stroke rehabilitation, spinal cord injury, multiple sclerosis, cerebral palsy, spasticity management, movement and gait analysis. She is particularly recognized for her work in robotic rehabilitation, wearable exoskeletons, neuromodulation, and the integration of innovative technologies into neurorehabilitation practice.

As frequent speaker at national and international congresses, Dr. Filoni has authored more than 75 peer-reviewed scientific publications and serves as Associate Editor and Editorial Board Member for several international journals in rehabilitation and neuroscience.

Innovation meets evolution: Clinical experiences with the new exopulse suit in Multiple Sclerosis.

Dennis Koch, B. Health, is a physiotherapist and Product Manager for Neurostimulation Technologies at rahm GmbH in Germany. He completed his physiotherapy education and earned a Bachelor of Health degree in the Netherlands. In addition, he holds a qualification in Sports Physiotherapy.

Before joining rahm GmbH, he worked for more than eleven years at the University Hospital Cologne, where he gained extensive clinical experience in neurological and interdisciplinary rehabilitation.

In his current role, he is responsible for the clinical implementation and support of innovative neurotechnology solutions, including functional electrical stimulation systems and the exopulse suit. His work focuses on translating technological innovations into meaningful clinical applications that support mobility, participation, and quality of life for people with neurological conditions.

Alongside his professional activities, he is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Neuroorthopaedics at Danube University Krems, Austria. His professional interests include neuromodulation, neurorehabilitation, assistive technologies, and the integration of emerging technologies into clinical practice.

Practical Application of the Exopulse Mollii Suit in Outpatient Physiotherapy.

Konrad Slobodzian is a physiotherapist and co-owner of NZOZ PROVITA, a family-run medical center in Boleslawiec, Poland, operating since 1994 and serving patients across Lower Silesia. He graduated from the University School of Physical Education (AWF) in Wroclaw, has practiced for over ten years, and treats patients weekly alongside his management work.

He served as a delegate to the 2nd National Congress of Physiotherapists in Poland. PROVITA holds National Health Fund (NFZ) contracts for rehabilitation and medical supply, has delivered pilot programs for the Ministry of Health and the NFZ, and hosts scientific meetings and conferences. He is also part of a research team studying neurodynamic techniques in patients with acute presentations.

PROVITA has been an Ottobock partner for many years and is a certified Exopulse Mollii provider. Working within the clinical standards developed by Ottobock, his team has implemented and field-tested them in routine outpatient practice, building repeatable workflows for patient selection, outcome monitoring and financing within the Polish reimbursement system. His guiding principle in applying them: no device recommendation without documented clinical effect at follow-up.

For most patients he treats, the suit is an addition to conventional physiotherapy. For a smaller group, such as patients with a spastic hand, it is what makes grip training possible at all.
