The ProFlex Plus is an anatomically shaped sealing sleeve made of a hard-wearing copolymer (TPE) with textile cover. In addition to the typical features of pre-flexion, conical shape and pre-shaped patella section, this sealing sleeve has an elastic textile cover and a flat seam for a virtually imperceptible proximal and precise distal end. It is used as the primary suspension or for sealing a vacuum system (valve, Dynamic Vacuum System or Harmony system).

Dynion is a new-generation mechanical knee from Ottobock. This reliable partner provides dynamic, dependable control throughout the gait cycle, thanks to a powerful rotary hydraulic, and empowers active users to lead the way on their own terms, by enabling walking at a variety of speeds over various surfaces with low cognitive effort. Support when descending stairs and declines is provided by consistent flexion resistance, and you can stand effortlessly with the manual lock feature. The sensor technology in the Genium X3 makes intuitive and natural motion sequences possible, even when you’re walking backwards or climbing stairs, or when switching between different walking speeds and stride lengths. Enhanced safety and quality of life along with relief for the contralateral side are just some of the aspects that can benefit patients considerably; and this has been scientifically proven.
The Genium X3 is particularly robust and resilient. Physically demanding occupations, an active family life, swimming and sports activities, seaside holidays and situations where you encounter water, dust, sand, dirt or grime – these are the ideal conditions for the Genium X3.
The Genium X3 has now been developed even further on this basis for smoother, more intuitive walking, improved safety and better support in everyday situations.

With the market launch of the Genium leg prosthesis, Ottobock opened up entirely new horizons for prosthesis wearers: a nearly natural gait pattern, climbing stairs step-over-step, walking backwards, relaxed standing – to name just a few examples. The benefits of being fitted with a Genium have been scientifically proven in multiple studies.
The Genium has been enhanced based on human movement as the model. The result is a noticeably smoother gait and even better support and safety in everyday situations, for instance on ramps, in confined spaces or when changing walking speeds. Five individually selectable MyModes support special movement patterns at work or play. 
The Genium can be configured with the Cockpit app, which is now available not only for Android but Apple (iOS) devices as well.

Users with lower mobility appreciate our Prosedo knee joint for deliberately supporting their efforts to sit down. Featuring a hydraulic sitting assist function our mechanical locking knee Prosedo 3R31 is best suited for older users. An individually adaptable (according to body weight) hydraulic sitting assist makes it easier for them to sit down on a bed or chair. After releasing the manual lock, the flexion resistance deliberately supports the sitting down procedure. The user may then shift his/her weight equally on both legs – the prosthetic leg and the sound leg. This not only leads to an improved balance, but also reduces the strain on the unaffected side.

A sports knee joint has to withstand the high loads that develop and act on the prosthesis while running. The familiar, patented principle of rotation hydraulics is used in a modified form in the 3S80 Sport as well. The joint is also equipped with a manual lock. Compact and robust, the 3S80 Sport is optimised for any type of running.
The lower leg of the prosthesis swings through freely to an angle of about 60° in the flexion direction. Even at high stride rates, a smooth extension stop is ensured by extension damping applied along the entire extension movement, which increases significantly shortly before reaching the end position. Flexion and extension damping can be adjusted separately and individually.

We have developed a knee joint especially for your therapy after the amputation, supporting initial walking and standing exercises in the course of your interim prosthetic fitting. Until you receive your final prosthetic fitting, the 3R93 provides valuable support while you get accustomed to your leg prosthesis.
The knee joint features straightforward adjustment and functionality that can be adapted to your individual need for safety. You activate the knee flexion required for sitting down yourself by using a pull cable. Approved for a body weight up to 125 kilograms, the joint is suitable for prosthesis wearers with low to moderate mobility.
The visually attractive design of the knee joint was recognised with the product design award in 2012.

Whether in everyday life or playing with children or grandchildren, flexible movement patterns are particularly important. Having a large flexion angle of the knee joint is indispensable, for example when placing items in the lowest cupboards or picking up children’s toys. The 3R106, which is suitable for a moderate activity level, allows you to walk at different speeds and offers a high level of safety in the stance phase as well.

The 3R78 knee joint is lightweight yet robust and offers high stance phase safety for users with moderate activity levels. The joint geometry effectively shortens the prosthesis when your leg swings through, giving you more ground clearance. A large flexion angle of 150° also provides greater freedom of movement. The knee joint also supports you when walking at various speeds and is approved for a body weight of up to 100 kilograms.

Children love to be active! They don’t want to be held back from their urge to move whenever possible.
The 3R66 knee joint for children even lets your child kneel or crouch down – with the prosthetic foot rotated to the outside. The flexible knee joint with an integrated rotation unit makes this rotation possible.

Thanks to easy initiation of the swing phase, the 3R60 knee joint allows you to walk at various speeds – whether you are going for a hike or strolling through a market. You benefit from a larger ground clearance during swing-through of the joint, reducing your risk of stumbling. The special joint design also gives you more stability in the stance phase and prevents unwanted flexion of the joint. The 3R60 also makes it possible for you to walk down gentle slopes.
