Unlike our other resins, the Orthocryl sealing resin is not suitable for laminating. The acrylic resin is only used for sealing and bonding. Combined with fillers, it can be used to produce fillers.

Orthocryl lamination resin 80:20 Speed is a lamination resin for fabricating small components within the field of prosthetics and orthotics.
It has the same mechanical properties but cures more quickly than the proven classic Orthocryl lamination resin 80:20 (617H19). Small components can be laminated more quickly thanks to the shorter curing time. Ottobock hardening powders and pigment pastes can be easily mixed with Orthocryl lamination resin 80:20 Speed.
Developed especially for laminations, this resin helps attain fittings of the highest quality in combination with our proven reinforcement materials.

C-Orthocryl is a laminating resin for the production of solid components with a high carbon fibre content in prosthetics and orthotics. The curing time can be shortened by adding Orthocryl laminating resin 80:20 Speed.

Orthocryl Lamination Resin 80:20 PRO is a lamination resin for the fabrication of components with a low proportion of resin. It has a lower viscosity than Orthocryl Lamination Resin 80:20 (617H19) but the same mechanical characteristics. Thanks to the lower viscosity the reinforcement material can be penetrated more effectively, allowing air to escape faster from the reinforcement. Hardener and colour pastes are easier to mix with Orthocryl Lamination Resin 80:20 PRO.
The reinforcement materials are soaked more effectively when processing with Orthocryl Lamination Resin 80:20 PRO (617H119) instead of Orthocryl Lamination Resin 80:20 (617H19). The air that is pushed out and subsequently rises can escape from the resin during lamination and is not locked into the resin. This increases the quality and stability of the end result.

Orthocryl 80:20 is the proven classic among laminating resins and is used for the production of components with glass fibre content as well as components with little or no carbon fibre content.
The resin is characterized by its optimal 80:20 ratio for the production of stiff laminates (with 20% of Orthocryl, soft 617H17). Orthocryl 80:20 can be combined with all common reinforcement materials used in orthopaedic technology. The curing time can be shortened by adding Orthocryl Laminating Resin 80:20 Speed.

The phthalate-free hardening powder marks the beginning of a new generation of materials offering an ideal combination of functionality and occupational health and safety. The hardening powder is less harmful to health than comparable products and thereby improves occupational health and safety in the orthopaedic workshop.
By replacing dicyclohexyl phthalate, which is a substance of very high concern, this hardening powder is far less hazardous to health, and the risk associated with its processing is reduced.
