Prosthetic liners

The 6Y523 Uneo is made of a soft, yielding material that “flows” to encompass the residual limb. A distal cushion provides additional padding so that pressure points are prevented. This characteristic has an especially positive effect in combination with a vacuum system.
Comfortable and hygienic: the 6Y523&#61;*-G Uneo Skinguard contains an antibacterial additive that reduces the growth of odor-forming bacteria by 99.9 per cent. The natural skin flora remains intact, and the liner’s durability is enhanced.
All liners in the Uneo product range distribute pressure evenly and absorb impacts during walking – ideal for sensitive, bony or scarred residual limbs.
The 6Y523 Uneo and 6Y523&#61;*-G Uneo Skinguard can be combined with a valve or vacuum.

The transparent 6Y522 Uneo Pure lower leg liner makes it possible to visually check fit and skin condition. The silky-smooth exterior is easy to clean, dries quickly and makes it simple to put on and take off the prosthesis without donning spray.

The 6Y200 Varos liner forms a functional unit with the 5A60 Varos socket. The liner distributes the pressure throughout the residual limb. Contact of the liner with fabric adhesive strips in the socket and the distal magnetic connector result in especially good adhesion in the socket. The 6Y200 Varos liner and 5A60 Varos socket must be ordered separately.

Adapter

Want to simply cross your legs or take a dip in the water? It’s all possible with the latest generation of Ottobock’s rotation adapter – anywhere and anytime. Showering, swimming in the sea or playing with kids in the water. The new 4R57&#61;WR waterproof rotation adapter is connected to the leg prosthesis above the knee. It can be triggered quickly and easily whenever required to make the movement situation easier, for example when putting on shoes, crossing your legs or driving. Users know how free they feel when they regain the ability to make pivot and rotation movements with the knee joint thanks to this small, inconspicuous adapter.
The 4R57&#61;WR waterproof rotation adapter is approved for a body weight of up to 166 kilograms and is available in two versions. It can also be combined with the Genium X3, the 3R80 and 3WR95 prosthetic knee joints, for example, which are also waterproof. Your O&amp;P professional will be happy to advise you regarding your specific requirements.

After a leg amputation, patients want to ensure that they can resume their usual everyday activities under the best possible conditions even with a prosthesis. This primarily requires the ability to perform turning and rotation movements of the knee joint. Ottobock has developed a rotation adapter for this purpose which makes everyday life easier for you in a number of ways. Next to sitting in comfort, activities such as putting on socks and shoes or driving a car are more convenient as well. For example, you can swing your prosthesis out of the way while driving, which not only provides more space in the footwell but also prevents the prosthetic foot from getting caught in the area of the pedals. Furthermore, the rotation adapter allows you to cross your legs and even sit cross-legged.
The 4R57 rotation adapter is approved for a body weight of up to 150 kilograms and is now also available in a waterproof version. Your orthopaedics specialist will be happy to advise you regarding your specific requirements.

Knee prosthetics

The ProFlex Plus is an anatomically shaped sealing sleeve made of a hard-wearing copolymer (TPE) with textile cover. In addition to the typical features of pre-flexion, conical shape and pre-shaped patella section, this sealing sleeve has an elastic textile cover and a flat seam for a virtually imperceptible proximal and precise distal end. It is used as the primary suspension or for sealing a vacuum system (valve, Dynamic Vacuum System or Harmony system).

Prosthetic covers

Do you want a leg prosthesis that looks as inconspicuous and natural as possible?  From day-to-day work to recreation, the functional cosmesis restores the natural volume of your leg as closely as possible. The functional cosmesis consists of a knee part, a functional shank made of foam that can be custom moulded by the O&amp;P professional and a functional stocking that forms the exterior finish.
