Evolve with Kenevo

Taking your first steps with a prosthesis is a journey of building confidence, one step at a time. As you grow more confident in your prosthesis, you'll find your independence increasing.

Taking your first steps with a prosthesis is a journey of building confidence, one step at a time. As you grow more confident in your prosthesis, you'll find your independence increasing.

The Kenevo is the first microprocessor knee created for individuals with limited mobility, whether you're gaining confidence after amputation, or maintaining independence in daily life. Its advanced technology puts a focus on safety, offering essential support for everyday activities with its basic functions. Its adaptive activity modes (A, B/B+, and C) ensure it evolves with you, either as you build strength and confidence during your initial rehabilitation or when your mobility is decreasing too, ensuring you have the right level of support at every stage.

The Kenevo features functions that make day-to-day life easier and richer. Including intuitive assisted descent on ramps and intuitive indoor bicycle mode. The prosthesis is easy to don, can be charged without removing the foam cover, and is now rated IP54, with improved protection against dust and water splashes.

Benefits at a glance

Stability in every step

    Supported sitting down
Support for sitting down and standing up

Kenevo automatically detects when you sit down and assists you. Even if your movement is slow, you stay in control, because the resistance in the MPK adapts to your movement. This feature helps makes the Kenevo very stable and an ideal primary prosthesis.

    Wheelchair function
    Cane, walker, and wheelchair support

Thanks to additional ground clearance, the Kenevo enables uses to sit in a wheelchair. With only one hand movement, the prosthetic knee can be locked between a slightly bent position and an almost fully extended leg. This prevents the Kenevo from getting caught on the ground.

    Standing function
    Secure standing

Kenevo provides the greatest saftey possible while standing, regardless of the selected activity mode. In activity modes A and B, safety is provided by the locked stance phase, (stance phase is the time when your prosthetic foot is in contact with the floor). In the more dynamic activity mode C, stable standing is possible even with the knee flexed, thanks to the intuitive stance feature.

    Enhanced safety
    Safe walking in everyday situations

The difference between a stumble and a fall can take milliseconds, and unlike other MPKs, the Kenevo does not need to detect a stumble to provide additional support. The knee is prepared during each swing phase for a stumble, meaning there is no reaction time. If a stumble was to occur as the knee is extending, the resistance is already high, preventing the knee from bending further when your foot makes contact with the floor.

More support for walking down ramps

Kenevo provides intuitive support while walking down ramps. As you bend the knee the resistance increases to support and control your descent. This improves stability and can support your mobility, both indoors and out.

    Kenevo now weatherproof (IP 54)

Kenevo is now weatherproof with IP54 protection, giving you piece of mind that your Kenevo is protected from dust and water splashes. So, whether it's a passing rain shower, a splash during daily hygiene tasks or a knocked-over glass of water, there's no need to worry.

    Intuitive indoor bicycle function
    Intuitive indoor bicycle function

Want to be more active, now you can easily increase your activity with the new intuitive cycling mode on the Kenevo. The resistance in the MPK automatically adapts as soon as you begin cycling on an indoor bicycle ensuring a seamless experience. Then, once you’re done, the MPK switches back automatically when you step off the bike – convenience at its finest!

    Manual locking function

With the manual locking function, the Kenevo can be conveniently secured in the extended position by a simple tapping pattern, even when using a cover. This offers users with low mobility additional stability in situations where increased safety is needed.

    Training Feedback Features

The new training feedback feature gives physiotherapists valuable insights into how patients perform their movements, enabling tailored guidance during therapy sessions. Through the connectgo.pro and Cockpit apps, acoustic signals can be set for selected or all movement patterns. When a movement has been performed correctly, the Kenevo will emit a sound to notify the patient and physiotherapist.

    Charging with foam cover
    Next-level convenience

The Kenevo can be charged easily without removing the foam cover. The donning function also makes it simpler to put the prosthesis on while seated. In modes A, B, and B+, the knee is normally locked in stance phase, but with the donning function activated, it can bend once with minimal resistance when the charger is disconnected. In mode C, the knee already bends against a constant resistance. This feature helps make everyday tasks easier, giving you more time for what matters most.

For users up to 150 kg body weight

Kenevo is approved for users with a body weight of up to 150 kg. This enables even more people to benefit from the proven stability and innovative technology of our MPK.

    More support for Prosthetists

The app connectgo.pro for Android and iOS smartphones and tablets makes it easy for Prosthetists to quickly and conveniently program the Kenevo for their users.

User Experience

Kenevo users move forward with confidence

A week with Karin. Confident thanks to Kenevo.

Karin goes about her day with confidence thanks to Kenevo. Whether she's shopping, gardening, or spending time with her grandchild, her MPK provides reliable support and safety in everyday situations. Even in the rain or dusty conditions, she stays worry-free because Kenevo is protected against splashes and dust. That means more freedom and peace of mind for Karin.

Functionality

3 activity modes to suit changing needs.

Mode A: Locked Mode

The Kenevo is locked and does not initiate a swing phase. Mode A provides a high level of safety and doesn’t allow unexpected movements.

Best for: Users who have little control over their residual limb, primarily walk only short distances indoors, and spend most of their time sitting.

Mode A: locked mode
