Suction Socket Electrode
The suction socket electrode for myoelectric prostheses is embedded into a mounting suspension of elastic material. It creates an airtight seal between the inner socket and outer socket. This prevents perspiration from getting in and avoids corrosion damage on mechanical and electrical components. Suitable for use in standard and elevated vacuum sockets. The electrode contacts are made of pure titanium and, since they are nickel-free, are also suitable for people with allergies.
