We're hiring a Warehouse Shipping Team Shipping Lead at our Louisville, Kentucky distribution center with Ottobock, a global leader renowned for quality orthotic and prosthetic devices.  You’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping people regain their mobility and independence.  Our warehouse team is small but an extremely valuable part of our North American operations. 

Schedule: Mon-Fri from 12:00pm – 8:30pm EST

Duties & Responsibilities

• Moves materials within the warehouse and completes other warehouse support tasks.
• Organizes and manages workflows and delegates work tasks as needed.
• Performs various operations, including unloading, picking, packing, counting and checking items to maintain inventory.
• Operates forklifts, hand trucks and any other material handling equipment according to safety policies and procedures.
• Resolves any issues from customer service inquiries with miss ships and can’t finds.
• Arranges transportation and load out for LTL Loads ensuring driver’s paperwork is correct.  Also assists in loading.
• Handling special customer shipping process and be able to pick pack to their standards.
• Able to handle UPS/FedEx stations to ship domestic and international orders.
• Assists and instruct new hires and other associates appropriate procedures.
• Ensures Hazmat (pick/pack/ship) certification is up to date.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Three years’ experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse or fulfillment center.
• Forklift operation, with hazmat experience preferred or a willingness to complete the necessary certification.
• Proficiency with computer knowledge, data entry, and emails.
• Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service with internal customers and external vendors.
• Possess excellent time management skills by handling multiple tasks and prioritizing.
• Ability to communicate and understand information verbally and in writing.

Compensation Data

Hourly rate is $23+ depending on experience.
