It's suitable for users weighing up to 220.46 lbs (100 kg) and can benefit users with a transfemoral amputation, knee and hip disarticulation, and bilateral amputation.

How long does it take to learn how to use the Dynion explore?

There is no universal statement here. The majority of users succeed in descending stairs alternately with the Dynion on the first day. Depending on individual requirements, however, it can also take a few days or weeks for users to fully get used to using the Dynion in everyday situations.

Is the Dynion knee joint suitable for sports?

The Dynion prosthetic knee joint is a constant companion – from sitting at a desk for long periods of time to riding a bike or taking a walk over uneven terrain. It allows you to actively take part in life with your family and friends.

What other products are included in a fitting with a Dynion leg prosthesis?

During the Dynion treatment, your O&P professional will adapt and assemble all components selected for your prosthesis. This includes the Dynion knee joint, a suitable socket and all required adapters up to the prosthetic foot. The assembly and setup of the chosen components are of course also included.

Is the Dynion knee joint waterproof?

Yes, the Dynion knee joint is waterproof and can be worn in salt, fresh, or chlorine water.To maintain the knee joint's functionality, it is essential to clean it as instructed after using it in water.

Slopes and stairs

Thanks to the integrated hydraulics, Dynion provides support when walking down slopes and stairs, helping you feel safe and confident in your surroundings.

Adjustable stance flexion resistance

Your prosthetist has the ability to adjust Dynion's stance flexion resistance (this is the resistance against the bending of the knee), meaning you receive the necessary support to walk up and down slopes, stairs and navigate uneven terrain, specific to your needs.

Manual lock

Do you find yourself standing for long periods? Dynion's manual lock supports relaxed and more comfortable standing via an easy-access button.

Bicycle mode

Want to go cycling? Dynion makes this possible with its handy cycling mode, simply push the button on the side of the knee joint and you're ready to go on your next adventure.

Waterproof

Dynion is fully waterproof against fresh, salt and chlorinated water. The corrosion-resistant tube adapter has four integrated water drain channels.

Stumble recovery

Dynion provides stability in a case of stumble. When walking if the swing phase is interrupted, Dynion will switch back to default stance providing enough resistance to regain your balance.
